In 1983, John Flick and Tom Knopick planted their flag and opened Duranglers Fly Shop in Durango, Colorado. From their humble basement beginnings, to becoming a model for success in the fly fishing space. Their influence can be felt in every corner of the sport – from the way brands develop product to how fly shops interact with customers. They’ve spent over 4 decades building a shop, a community, and a legacy that spans far beyond Southwest Colorado and the Southern Rockies.

43 Years ago John Flick and Tom Knopick opened Duranglers Fly Shop. Low on time and short on cash, they managed to create a fly shop that didn’t just exist in the space, but defined it. Tying their own flies, building their own rods, and fostering the brands that would grown along side them for over 4 decades.

Drone. We pride ourselves with our aerial capabilities.

There is just something special about footage from the sky.

With our duel pilot setup, a big fancy drone, and a lot of caffeine, we've been able to capture stunning work from the air.

Enjoy some of our favorite shots from our flights.

Some selects from a mini-doc we produced last year. Handmade, beautiful, usable art. I’ve always enjoyed watching an artist work and seeing what they can create from scratch. It was a joy to watch it from conception to completion. They don’t make them like this everyday.

When a seven-generation farm chooses a seed partner, they're not just picking a product, they're picking a philosophy.

For Wilson Organic Farms in Wisconsin's driftless region, that partner is Albert Lea Seed. Two family-owned operations, both built on a belief that farming with integrity and farming for profit don't have to be at odds.

In this video, Chris Wilson shares how Albert Lea Seed's non-GMO and organic seed varieties fit naturally into their 3,500-acre system of rotational grazing, cover cropping, and year-round soil cover.

This is what it looks like when the right seed meets the right soil.

People always ask why color grading matters so much. Easiest way to explain it: here's the same clip, untouched out of camera, next to the graded version.

Same footage. Same day. Completely different feeling.
Regular footage is just... information. Flat, kind of dull, technically fine but doing nothing for you emotionally. Grading is where it actually becomes a "look" where it starts feeling like a brand film instead of someone's vacation video.

Anyway, this is basically 70% of why post-production takes as long as it does. Worth it every time though. by @cutbank.co
