A tiny three-act story in the yellow/red Star Dahlia. 🌼🐝
Taken on October 3rd at @hollandridgefarms during the @sonyalphafemale meet-up with Kate @torvaterra ! This was my very first time shooting with a dedicated macro lens, and I was completely blown away by the level of detail it reveals.💛

Glowing Sunflowers 🌻
While at @hollandridgefarms during the @sonyalphafemale meet up with @torvaterra , of course we stayed until golden hour!
Here are 2 of my favorite captures. I love the way the light is glowing through their petals and also highlighting their “fur” on their stems and leaves!

Fall blooms through a macro lens. 🍂🔍

First time shooting dedicated macro at the @sonyalphafemale meet-up at @hollandridgefarms, thanks to Kate (@torvaterra) letting me borrow her glass and also for many amazing suggestions & guidance.

What stays with you after the training ends?

These photographs follow Colleen Warn from Hatha TT in 2005 to moments together in 2014, 2017 and 2020. Her reflection brings us back to what continued into everyday life:
