The goal of leadership isn’t to prove that we’re right, it’s to arrive at the best possible decision. That requires us to examine our own motives, welcome different perspectives, and remain open to what we may be missing.

Before making a decision, ask yourself: “Am I trying to prove something?”

As women in leadership, we can feel pressure to prove that we belong, that we’re capable, or that we deserve a seat at the table. But you have nothing to prove and everything to give.

God has already called, equipped, and positioned you. Lead from that truth, not from the pressure to earn what He has already placed within you. 💚

Pastor Colleen Rouse is not calling in.

The strongest leaders don't lead from pressure to prove themselves, they lead from the confidence of knowing who they are in Christ. When your identity is secure, you can serve without striving, listen without defensiveness, and lead without seeking approval.

Lead with conviction. Love people well. Stay rooted in who God says you are.
