What a Mid Century stunner !! 🥰
Whilst on a delivery in Toorak late yesterday I stumbled across this gorgeous gem at 11 Montrose Court.
Beautifully kept and so nice to see. Made my day. 🙏🏼
Looks like it could be by that dynamic Duo, Holgar & Holgar, but I couldn’t find any details regarding the original architect. Anyone….Anyone….🤷🏽‍♂️ by @cyclatecture

Taglietti - Life In Design. So inspiring to see this exhibition for the second time. Saw it about a year ago in Canberra and great to see it come to Melbourne.
Australia is so lucky to have had this incredible Italian Modernist Architect move to our shores in 1955.

What a treat ! Finally had the chance to experience the interior of this wonderful clever home. Having driven and walked past this restrained windowless brick facade for decades, I always wondered about its interior. Yesterday I had 20 minutes to enjoy this Neil Clerehan Architectural masterpiece on a perfect Melbourne winter’s day. Fenner House, South Yarra, Designed in 1964 and the recipient of the RVIA - Outstanding House of the year in 1967. It’s a Melbourne Icon and what a gem. Currently on the market and I highly recommend a visit during its campaign. 🫶🏼✊🏼 by @cyclatecture

St Andrew’s Beach House by @seangodsellarchitects 2006. Well, I know what the high light of my weekend is.
An extraordinary piece of architecture and a visit I will never forget. This without a doubt is one of the best houses I have ever experienced. Both sculptural and Brutal but so incredibly peaceful. A Masterpiece. 🙏🏼✊🏼 by @cyclatecture

Our much loved home is up for sale. 😢
We have thoroughly enjoyed 10 plus years in our Brutalist Harold Shafer designed apartment in Elsternwick. Officially on the market as of this weekend.

Cafe Salsa, West Beach, South Australia
Circa 1950’s. Photo taken in 1993. Worked several hospitality venues throughout my late teens and into my 20’s but none were as fun as the Iconic Beach side Cafe Salsa. Mid 90’s into the 2000’s, this place was simply incredible. Such fond memories and worked with greats such as Marco Furlan, @lauro_siliquini , @ennio13 , @andrewjamesborgie , Rob,
Renato, Nudles, Richard & Jeremy ! What a time.

The absolute perfect way to end our summer break.
Had the privilege of visiting our friends Ivan & Emma in their stunning Graham Lyons designed home.
The home was actually Graham Lyons own residence designed in 1978 on the Bellarine Peninsula. Graham’s son is the flamboyant ex-mayor of Geelong, Darryn Lyons. Upon Researching some history of the home,
Darryn grew up in the home and he recalls splitting
36,000 bricks by hand 🥵 to create the incredible textured effect of the building.
Ivan and Emma have executed the perfect restoration to this unique building.
The combination of our friends hospitality today along with the warmth and intimacy this home effortlessly provides, really made it a memorable experience. Thank you Ivan & Emma. 🙏🏼
