Thankful for my journey & where it has brought me to. Looking forward to where it’s taking me. I started this all with “a dollar & a dream” and now my reality is better than I could have imagined. 3. Private tour for @ajmcqueen the @godbodyenergy team and special guests during @godbodyweekend
4. My agency @melaninmuseartsagency booked the fan favorite @liahmissmusic for a live performance at the Black Excellence Art show @elevatecreativestudios then brought her back to perform for the @amazon @hp and @microsoft private Black History event
5. Artist @kandidjournals of @melaninmuseartsagency gained some big fans!!! Shout out @kgsmooth from @majic1021
6. Led the Artist talk and tour at the 60 day “Visionaries” Exhibition I have currently curated at @shopblck as an event during the #blackarthouston citywide experience powered by @mfahouston. Thank you to @anicurateslife for this amazing opportunity
7. Speaking with the Artist @_sunoflove about his Masterpiece “Checkmate” during the Art tour and talk. One of over 80 Artworks in the “Visionaries Exhibition” curated by my curatorial company @cultured.concepts
8. Introducing the talents for the private Black History Month event for @amazon @hp @microsoft and @hpe
9. A round of applause for the amazing Visual Artists curated by @cultured.concepts, the performing talents curated by @melaninmuseartsagency, and for myself the founder of both companies, curator and emcee. Funny enough I wanted to have an event on 2/22/24 who would have imagined it would have been a booking for my companies and an opportunity for my fellow creatives to make history.
10. My youngstar. My legacy. Who made me a work of Art in the Exhibition space I’ve curated while watching Black Girl Magic as we begun to brew something truly beautiful for the closing. We on our way baby.

#flashbackfriday to last Friday in New York. I was exploring the town, today I’m headed back home.
With tired feet and many memories. This day I headed to get coffee, and saw so many flower shops on the corners and I loved it! I actually found a cafe that had the most beautiful flowers and such a cute aesthetic (@aristonflowers).

Next part of the adventures included chess @unionsquareny park then ran into jazz at Madison Square Park @madsqparknyc . Saw the @flatironny and lastly, stopped for a vegan chili cheese dog and cherry float at @plntburger . Oh it was quite a day.

Fast forward to today, I had an adventure in itself just tryna get back home. Public transport was treating me well UNTIL 5 this AM. The train I was supposed to catch was cancelled, the Lyft driver got me to the bus stop as the bus was pulling off. Waited for the next one which was delayed. Ended up getting off to catch another Lyft to get there faster for that one to take forever to arrive, so I cancelled and boarded another bus. Got closer to the airport got off and got another Lyft at half the price and 20 minutes quicker. Mind you my flight started boarding at 6:25 am and I arrived at 6 am. Thank goodness for @clear ! Made it on the plane and I’ll have more stories another day.

Day 1. New York.

A lot of stimuli. A lot of movement, sights, smells, flavors and sounds. And everything is as Art.

Apparently the horrible air quality was a once in blue moon happening that just happened to happen when we arrived. But @centralparknyc was still magnificent. Carried on to @prettyrickysbar for a drink and ran into #freemansalley, saw some dope murals on our journey to @spicymoonnyc . And then the night began.

Fast forward to today, for the first time ever, one of my accounts got hacked. And that pic from the first day is so accurate “It’s not ok.”

#talenttuesday Houston’s finest did not come to playyyy!!! @redbulldance was insane! Energy was high, crowd was active and the dancers were on fireeee!!! Took my notes, had fun and of course turnt up! Shout out my sis @_imlashayy for this dope experience. She was a judge for pre-lims and we got the VIP experience Baybeh. Not we headed on our trip. #mommyandme Missing my girl. This is the longest we’ve ever been a part. And the countdown has begun until she’s back in my arms. My sunshine, my shining star, my little brilliant light. The first thing she said when she came home from visiting her bestie was can we dress up, and of course we were headed to an Art show & concert, so it was perfect timing. And here I was thinking she was getting tired of me taking her to these events and “getting fancy” as she says. Taught her how to skate backwards our last skate sesh and that’s what most the spins I’ve ever done! So we both had a first that day. Next day we stopped at our fave spot @sinfullbakery and made a pitstop to the park. She got her first set of braids and beads right before she left for the summer and she lovedddd them. Couldn’t believe I did em myself. But the things we would do for our little ones is beyond what we could imagine. And I’ll always go above and beyond for my girl.

Today is the 7/7 portal and there has been so much happening in the stars lately. Last week with the Strawberry Full Moon I returned to the water to journal, meditate, vision board and read. It was beautiful. The water, the breeze and reconnecting. Take time with you, stay present, stay grateful. Create the moments and the existence you desire. Align and redesign as many times as needed. The theme song of this day was Happy Survival.
