POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hello! My name is Deanna Magee, I’m an aspiring author. Let me introduce myself and my current WIP.

5 things about me
1. I love Jesus ❤️
2. I’m a stay at home mom and a wife. That job comes first. ❤️
3. I have many talents, a few being painting, dancing, photography and a perpetual ability to injure myself. 😂
4. I always listen to music on shuffle
5. I was obsessed with writing as a teen, almost everyday you’d find me at my laptop writing or researching, but stopped once adulthood hit and I had a bad season of depression. But now a decade later I’m back at it, writing and finding joy in it!

Now let me introduce you to my WIP!
1. I don’t have it titled yet, I have a few ideas brewing though.
2. It’s a New Adult Fantasy.
3. My MC is named Anthea.
4. She finds herself in a world she thought was a fairytale her parents made up for her bedtime stories.
5. The place is… magical. What? Too vague? Well, I have to leave somethings a mystery! 😉

Currently my WIP is at 51,476 words and 17 chapters. by @d.magee_writer

It still can be read as a standalone, but I have two stories in the same world in different time periods, along with another idea or two?

The one I’m starting is a Bible story retelling, anyone want to guess what it is? by @d.magee_writer

I had so much fun turning some of my favorite books into tiny books to put in this book nook. I plan to make more so let me know if there’s a book you want to see in my book nook.

Indie Authors! I want to show off your books too, so send me a picture of your cover spread, and I’ll make a little mini to go in my nook!

With my fantasy world-building I want to highlight the beauty of what our creator has already done in building us this amazing world. 😍

Like this spot is right beside someone’s back yard in the middle of my city. 🤯

What is your favorite type of nature?

Deanna rant # 1.

Right now I’ve been slowly reading through my manuscript making notes. While also processing through some of my story ideas in my head. by @d.magee_writer

It was so hard to put it back on the shelf.

What series or book would you want to collect all the fancy editions of if you could?

Inheritance Cycle is mine.

This is just the art I have on my phone and in my house. There much more from my art school days. 😆

Even these just don’t quite fit right.

I’m really struggling with summarizing my book, one of these days I’ll get it nailed down.

Hey! I’m Deanna Magee, a wife and mom of four, artist, and writer, currently working on my debut fantasy romance novel.

If you enjoy…

- Portal Fantasy
- Unique magic systems
- A reluctant chosen one
- Magical creatures

Then follow along on the journey!
