After serving 38 years in prison for the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl, David Bryant maintained his innocence. With the help of a non profit organization, he is finally released and sent home, but nothing could prepare him for what would happen next.

Super excited for this! Earlier this year, I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to compose for this film. Same as every film or project I work on, it is a blessing and I am grateful but this is slightly different because it’s my first TV Movie. It came at time when I was in a transitional period, almost a year to me losing my job. But I prayed, put my head down and left it to God and This Happened! Beyond Grateful!

Shoutout to everyone that was involved with the making this film at @tvonetv @swirlfilmsig

Huge congratulations to our composer Dominique Luis, who just won BEST COMPOSER – THRILLER at the @nywift x @iwomantv Online Shorts Festival for The Shower!!!

@d2luis came onto this project at a more-than-favorable rate because he believed in the film, and because we both saw an opportunity for him to expand his work in sound design and composing for film.

Well… BABY. LOOK AT GOD. 😂🏆

What started as a creative collaboration and a chance to stretch into new territory turned into an AWARD-WINNING SCORE!!!

This is what I love about independent filmmaking. Sometimes you’re building the thing AND building each other at the same damn time.

Dom, thank you for trusting us, bringing your talent to The Shower, and helping create the sound of Denise & Amy’s world and @theisabellepierre 's words. You understood the assignment. 🎶🖤

And if you haven’t watched The Shower yet, you can watch it FREE through October 16th on iWomanTV.

Go listen to Dom's work as you watch the film.

And celebrate our people when they take the damn trophy home. 🏆

🎬 The Shower FREE through Oct. 16 at iwoman.tv

Had the opportunity to sound design and score this unbelievable film.

One of the most intentional projects I’ve been a part of.

Shoutout to @iamlouvinia for having the courage to tell this story, @lainglaing and the whole team for giving yourselves to the story, and @tristancurbishley for bringing the sound to life.
