🚨 If you live in Brazos County or any of the surrounding counties, we are in desperate need of foster families.

Right now, children are being sent outside of our county—and in some cases, even out of state—simply because there aren’t enough local homes available. These kids need safe, loving families today.

And if you’ve ever thought, “I can’t foster because I’m single,” that’s simply not true. I started fostering as a single parent in an 800-square-foot duplex apartment. You don’t have to have a perfect home—you just have to be willing to open your heart.

If you’ve ever felt even the smallest tug to help children in foster care, this might be your sign to take that first step.

YOU ALL!!!! I am STILL thinking about this book… The Tragedy of Felix and Jake by @authorjdaniels is next level!

I cannot get these guys out of my head, and apparently, they have no plans to leave!!!

I know so many people fell in love with watching Jake and Felix fall for each other. And TRUST ME, I get it!!!

But you know what I can’t stop thinking about? The love CT had for Jake.

There was something so beautiful and heartbreaking about their relationship. CT loved Jake in a way that only a brother could. It wasn’t always perfect, and it didn’t always come out in the right ways, but that love was THERE. The loyalty, the sacrifices, the desire to protect someone you love, even when life makes that nearly impossible.

NOW DON’T GET ME WRONG!!! CT still pissed me off at times!!! Like SIR, I am trying to be on your side, but you are making it DIFFICULT!!! But understandably, none of this was easy for anyone involved. Everyone was trying to navigate an impossible situation, and sometimes love doesn’t come wrapped in the prettiest package.

Their relationship reminded me that sometimes the most powerful love stories in a book aren’t the romantic ones.

And honestly? CT might have left just as big of an impression on me as Jake and Felix did.

DID YOU REALLY THINK I FORGOT ABOUT OUR RASPADO BOYFRIEND?!?!

Absolutely NOT!!! I just needed to give Crop Top Papi his moment before bringing out the other half of this delicious duo!!!

And while we’re here, can we talk about how I’ve personally convinced AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE (that I know of) to read RASPADOS & REGRET by @IzzyRavas?!?!

AND EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. LOVED. IT.

So if you haven’t read it yet… WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE WAITING FOR?!

A few books that had me at first sight. Because sometimes I absolutely do judge a book by its cover, and I refuse to apologize for it.

And since October is my birthday month, I’ve decided the appropriate way to celebrate is by being completely irresponsible with my TBR. These beauties are getting bumped STRAIGHT to the top because I need to know if the insides are as good as the outsides.

The covers got me. The tropes sealed the deal. Now I’m about to eat these UP.

Okay, I am SO extra!!!

When You’re So Golden got announced, I somehow looked at Mateo and Nolan and my brain went… Titanic.

Why?! I DON’T KNOW. My brain does weird crap like this and then refuses to let it go.

Suddenly Mateo and Nolan were Jack and Rose, except let’s be real… Nolan wouldn’t need to fight for space on that damn door. Have you SEEN Mateo?! Mateo IS the door(new fanart 🤔).

And unfortunately, once that image entered my brain, it moved in, unpacked its bags, and refused to leave.

So obviously I had to make it real. I needed other people to live in this completely unnecessary You’re So Golden x Titanic fantasy with me. YOU’RE WELCOME.

Sorry, @booksovrbros. The book isn’t even here yet and I’m already making fanfic. 🫣

And because apparently I don’t know when to stop… I’m already working on another art piece.

I know these last few months I’ve been a little obsessed with MM romance. More specifically, the darker side of MM romance… and I will NOT be apologizing for that. Muhahahah!!!

But I promise I still love a good mix of genres.

I started my @probablysmutbookclub subscription last month specifically because they were featuring one of my favorite reads, In Stormy Weather by @authorchelseacurto. If you haven’t read it yet, HIGHLY recommend.

Now we’re on month two and LOOK AT THIS DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS BOOK.

This month’s pick is Don’t Say Mafia by @crjaneauthor, and I actually haven’t heard of this one before. I was going to say this might finally pull me out of my dark romance era… but apparently @probablysmutbookclub looked at my reading habits and said, “Absolutely not.”

So I guess we’re staying on the dark side, people. Muhahahah!!!

Definitely adding this one to next month’s reading list.

This book is DEFINITELY going to be one of my top reads of the year! I freaking loved it so much.

Final Cut takes place in the same universe as Crash Test, but it is SO different. I honestly had no idea what to expect going into it, but OMG!!!

First, the slow burn!!! Amy James absolutely nailed it. I would honestly consider this a master class in how to do a proper slow burn. The tension, the build-up, and watching Quin and Cole slowly get there was SO freaking good.

And if you’re here for the F1 racing, I’m sorry, but this book gives you so much more. It’s honestly perfect for fall! A little spooky, some mystery, and definitely a few moments that made me GASP.

But what really got me was Cole.
***Potential small spoilers***

Along with watching his relationship with Quin grow, we get to watch Cole heal, slowly open up about his past, and actually let people into his life. And through that process, he starts building these beautiful friendships with other people. Not just the love interest!!!

I LOVE that Amy gave him that.

His healing wasn’t just tied to falling in love with Quin. It was also about friendship, trust, and realizing there are people who genuinely want to be there for him. Watching Cole go from carrying so much alone to slowly building these relationships was probably one of my favorite parts of the entire book.

I seriously can’t explain how much I freaking loved this. My thoughts are still all over the place!!!

Also… you don’t need to read Crash Test before jumping into this one. There are some slight spoilers, but nothing that would ruin it if you start here. That being said, I loved Crash Test, so READ THAT ONE TOO!!!

So apparently being in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, fighting for my LIFE and trying not to spit my insides out, is not ideal for keeping up with cover reveals. WHO KNEW?!

Because while I was out there losing a battle with the sea, @booksovrbros casually dropped the BEAUTIFUL cover for YOU’RE SO GOLDEN!!!

AND LOOK AT HER!!! 😭💛

Also… LOOK AT MATEO. Nolan wouldn’t even need a door. Mateo IS the damn door. Jack and Rose could’ve learned a thing or two (I know…. I will stop with this damn joke now).

Now, favorite book of ALL TIME? Yeah, I’m gonna need three. In no particular order:

Spoilers ahead…

Burn Down Master’s House — Clay Cane
I was FURIOUS reading this book. But that ending with Solomon and Luke? Luke coming back and being the one to finally release Solomon from his shackles absolutely undid me. I still get emotional thinking about it.

The Tragedy of Felix and Jake — J. Daniels
I loved Felix and Jake, but the brothers were the real love story for me. That relationship got me in a way I wasn’t expecting, and it’s honestly the part of this book I carry with me the most.

Promise Me — Sara Cate
Declan and Colin had me STRESSED. The history between them, the longing, and all those years of loving each other made this one impossible for me to put down.

So yeah… choosing just one was never happening. 😂🖤 Fingers crossed for His Obsession!

IT’S RELEASE DAY!!!

RASPADOS & REGRET by Izzy Ravas is officially OUT TODAY!!!

I’ve been talking about Fabián and Elías since I started this ARC, and now you all can finally meet these two!!!

I went into this book excited, but I was NOT prepared for how quickly it would pull me in. The romance, the family, the culture, the FOOD — this book had me calling my mom asking her to make albondigas because apparently reading wasn’t enough; I needed the full experience.

And Fabián + Elías?! I was obsessed with these two ridiculously early. Their chemistry, their moments together, and everything happening around them had me flying through this book.

There’s also something really special about picking up a romance and finding little pieces that take you back to your own childhood and family. That made this one hit differently for me.

Congratulations @izzyravas!!! And thank you again for letting me be part of your street team and experience this one early. Now everyone else can read it so I have more people to talk about Fabián and Elías with!!!

And a special thank you to @sheepyboo for the AMAZING artwork! Bringing Crop Top Papi to life was so easy and so much fun. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend working with them.
