Six years ago, I had the hangover to end all hangovers (it was specifically pineapple white claw) and decided I was real sick of my own shit.
There was a part of me that came to feel like a really shitty friend—didn’t respect me enough, got in my way, showed up to work still fucked up from the night before, was unreliable and petty and self centered, and maybe without my noticing, replacing confidence with self loathing and shame.
You gotta get sick and tired of your own shit. by @daggers.666

My office for a couple days. Attending our annual sales kickoff event for GFC. This event always absolutely stresses me out beyond belief, because it’s a huge amount of planning on top of my regular day to day design work. And somehow, it always coincides with a sudden Peanuts project that takes tons of time, nights and weekends, and extra special effort. Many props to Chris for helping out so much with the rest of life while I struggle. I haven’t slept like this in so many months, I don’t even know when. Constant sleep deprivation from needy cats really wears on mental and physical health (don’t dare ever tell me cats are aloof).
Also, man, Oak Brook, IL fucking sucks, at least the parts I’ve navigated. taken in Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort by @daggers.666
