New Beginnings!!! 🫣🚛🏗️😍🤭 TESTIMONY: Ya girl is officially hauling container 🚛🥳🥳🥳🤩 But babyyyyy, this port life ain’t no joke! 🤣🫡 It’s a whole new world of trucking for me, and I’m not gonna lie—these last two weeks have been a STRUGGLE. 😅😩 Not because I couldn’t handle it, but because I had to learn a completely different rhythm. 🙌🏼 I had to get familiar with how the ports operate, adjust to new time schedules & port protocols, learn to deal w/ this equipment that’s often heavy, rusted, and tough to work with… It tested my patience , strength, & mindset if I’m being real! 🤷🏽‍♀️ (Especially coming from Reefer which is so easy 🤣) But, now I got it down packed!! That’s what makes me a true testament to the brand slogan I’m wearing, that “Our Pretty Has No Boundaries.” From @prettyasatrucker 😉💁🏽‍♀️😌 Even when the work gets rough, I don’t lose my grace, femininity, or power. I still show up, push through, & get the job done!!! 🚛💯 PRAISE BREAK: I’ll be real… I had MULTIPLEEEE trucking offers on the table—but I prayed about it… Honestly, I asked God daily to lead me to the right decision, to make it clear where I was supposed to be… and this is where He placed me. 😭🥹🏗️ I didn’t understand it at first, but now I see exactly why. This new job allows me to be home EVERY weekend, so I can continue spending quality time with my family!!! Ive been able to see my family more than ever during this break from trucking I was on, & that was very important to me to be able to maintain wherever I went next!! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒💓💯 It ALSO allows me to continue to stay close and locked in with my brand @prettyasatrucker & keep building what I know God called me to do. 😭🥹💓 It truly feels like the best of both worlds!!! BUT to top it all off? This was the highest paying job out of all the ones I was considering… & I didn’t even know it would be surpassing them like this !!! 😩😩😩😩 God WONT YOU DO IT!!!! ✝️💰🙌🏼 I know I’ve been off & On IG, but I’ve been locked in, growing my knowledge of life & Christ fr ✝️💪🏼💓 Can’t wait to start dropping these container hauling Vlogssssss Lets Goooooo !!!! 🥳🥳 #trucker #truckdriver #femaletrucker taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @daidrina

🎤 Is this thing on? 🫣👀🚛😂 Man… 5½ years as an over-the-road truck driver. I’m here to share my story 🫡💓 I genuinely don’t think people realize what this lifestyle actually looks like. Truck driving is one of the most dangerous professions in America, & for years this was just… my normal. 🙇🏽‍♀️ Driving thousands of miles every week, crossing multiple time zones in a day, navigating mountains, snowstorms, high winds, heavy traffic, constantly seeing accidents, sleeping in truck stops, eating whatever they had sometimes, & missing birthdays, holidays, just so many moments with the people I love because I was somewhere across the country trying to make a delivery 💯🚛🥲 Then add being super young & a woman on top of that 😅 I was typically the only girl on the job, and a lot of times people had already made up their minds about me before I even got out of the truck. 🫠🙃 Some questioned me, some underestimated me, and some just assumed I didn’t belong. I got used to having to prove myself over and over again… until eventually I stopped trying to prove anything and just let my work speak for itself. 🥱🚛🫡 Their journey even led me to creating my own clothing brand, @prettyasatrucker for the feminine women in male dominated industries who know exactly what it feels like to be underestimated because of one of the only women in the room, even though she’s plenty capable to do the work as well 😌💪🏼🤭💓 Through all the highs and lows, I truly do have a love for trucking and truly feel as though it shaped so greatly into the woman that I am today 🥹🥹🥹🚛💓 I use my platform as a documentary to show the highs and lows of this industry and what it looks like to chase your dreams & never give in! Officially hit 10,000 followers on BOTH of my pages… just 5 days apart. 🥹😭🙌🏼✝️ Transparency Post: I got FIRED from my trucking job ONE month ago. 🤦🏽‍♀️🥲🚛💀👇🏼 The night before the month of June started, I had one of the DEEPEST, most heartfelt prayers I’d had in a long time. I told God I was tired. Tired of never feeling like I had enough time or energy to fully pursue the dreams He had placed on my heart. I told Him I wanted to become more disciplined, spend more time in His Word, consistently create content, & finally start back on my brand, @prettyasatrucker by the end of the summer instead of having to keep getting back in a semi truck that was breaking down every week. Wouldn’t you know… the VERY next morning after that prayer, I got fired. 💀 Honestly… I had to laugh. 😂 I’m deep enough in my walk with the Lord now that all I could think was, “You really have a sense of humor.” 🤦🏽‍♀️✝️🫠😭 So I did exactly what I had told Him I would do. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I LOCKED IN!!! 💯 I got back in my Word, consistently created content, decided to bring @prettyasatrucker back right then & there 🥹💓🥰, started getting orders again, hit 10K on my main page after just 3 weeks of consistency 🥹, then brought my trucking page back & it hit 10K within a week too. 😭🙌🏼 Looking back, I could’ve looked at getting fired as a setback… But if there’s one thing I hope you take away from my testimony, it’s this: Don’t be so quick to call something a setback just because it doesn’t look like the answer you were praying for. 🙏🏼✝️💯 Sometimes your biggest disappointment creates the space for everything you’ve been praying for. Keep trusting Him. Keep showing up. Keep saying yes. Thank y’all for every like, follow, comment, share, & order. 😭🥹🥹🙌🏼💓 It truly means so much to me 🥹🙌🏼💓 The best part? Some of the best moments in my brand didn’t happen because I had a big following. They happened because I was willing to walk into a room full of strangers with a box of hats & a message I believed in. ❤️😭🥹 Truthfully, I was nervous asf yall!!!!! 😭💯🤷🏽‍♀️ I kept wondering, “What if nobody buys one? What if people think I’m weird for walking around selling my brand?” 😅 But I locked in, I believed in the mission, & I felt like God was opening a door. So I asked my best friend @yegaink to come with me, took a deep breath, and walked in anyway. 🥲✝️ One conversation turned into another. Then another. Then another. Before I knew it, people weren’t just buying hats, they were buying into the message. 🥹 Women told me they had experienced the same stereotypes. Men told me they respected what the brand stood for and wanted to support it too. 💪🏼🔥 That night reminded me of something I’ll never forget: Sometimes God doesn’t ask you to have a huge platform. He just asks you to have enough courage to walk into the room!!! You never know who’s waiting to hear your story until you’re willing to tell it. 🥹🤞🏼💓 If you’re building something right now, whether it’s a business, a dream, or a calling, don’t let fear convince you that you’re “too small.” Walk into the room anyway. 😆 We not living to work, we working to LIVE 🥹🚛🫡🙌🏼 Yes, my bank account takes a few ‘hits’ during home time 😂 but I wouldn’t trade the memories for anything! 💓 Since I was a little girl, I could never get onboard with the “work until you retire, then go see the world” mindset. 😅Tomorrow isn’t promised, & I want to experience life while I’m young, healthy, and able to enjoy it. 💓 I’m a huge advocate for creating a work-life balance that works for YOU.
