A gift from my love 🤍

It felt like the perfect fragrance to begin this new chapter of perfume reviews.

Less about memorizing notes.
More about the feelings they leave behind, the memories they awaken, and the stories they quietly tell.

This one is from @rojalondon by @rojadove , and I don’t think I’ll ever describe it the same way twice.

Welcome to another (new) chapter of @dailyscentsofsuzie ✨ by @dailyscentsofsuzie

Technically convinced my date to come with me to my fave perfume-making workshop (it’s my 2nd time) 🤍✨

@oola.lab offers the cutest workshops — couples, ladies’ nights, and even group sessions. The whole process is guided: you explore different top, middle, and base notes, write down your formula, and slowly build a scent that feels like you.

The sweetest part of doing it with someone is hearing their thoughts while you’re creating your fragrance… it makes the moment feel even more intentional.

You also get to name your own scent (this made it feel so personal 🥹) and bring it home.

And if you want a refill later, your formula gets saved in their system — you can just scan the QR and recreate it anytime. ✨

Big thanks to @ruziizur for guiding us through all the steps 🥰

Save this for your next date idea!

There’s something about a fragrance that feels fresh and warm at the same time. 🤎

Burlington 1819 by ROJA

What caught my attention about this fragrance is the contrast. It opens with this bright, almost sparkling citrus freshness, but there’s also a warmer, slightly spicy side that makes it feel more interesting than your usual fresh perfume.

Think juicy grapefruit, a little mint, and ginger, with a deeper warmth from rum, tobacco, and woods.

It’s the kind of combination I wouldn’t immediately expect to work together, but I’m curious to see how it develops on my skin.

A little background: Burlington 1819 takes its inspiration from London’s historic Burlington Arcade, which opened in 1819 and is also home to ROJA’s flagship boutique.

I think there’s something beautiful about the idea of capturing a place and its history through fragrance.

For now, just a little unboxing. I’ll be spending more time with this one before sharing my full thoughts. 🤎

Have you tried anything from Roja?

Maybe getting your spark back looks a little like this. ☀️

Sunlight through the windows, dancing for no reason, stepping outside just to feel the warmth on your skin… and finding a fragrance that somehow feels like all of it.

Astrum Nova by @electimusslondon is sunshine with a little mystery. Bright citrus, juicy mango and dark berries, softened by florals, warm vanilla and a beautiful woody depth.

Luminous, playful, and just a little intoxicating.

A fragrance that feels like falling in love with the little things again. 🤍

A little escape to Japan, bottled. 🌸🍵

Tokyo by @anneflipoperfumer | Contes de Parfums

This was my first introduction to @contesdeparfums , and I genuinely didn’t know what to expect.

Inspired by Japan’s cherry blossom season, Tokyo took me somewhere I wasn’t expecting.

Imagine walking into a beautiful Japanese-inspired spa, surrounded by cherry blossoms, a little pond with water lilies, and that peaceful feeling of being somewhere far away from the noise.

And as the fragrance slowly unfolds, it’s almost like someone offers you a warm cup of floral tea before guiding you into a massage room with fresh, clean linen sheets.

That’s exactly how this perfume feels to me.

There’s a delicate floral softness, a beautiful tea-like freshness, and this comforting, clean muskiness that makes the whole experience feel so calming.

What I find fascinating is how the scent reveals itself little by little, almost like you’re moving through different moments of the same experience.

It’s soft, peaceful, and beautifully atmospheric.

And for a fragrance inspired by Japan’s cherry blossom season, I think it captures that feeling so beautifully. 🤍

Just a little unboxing for now. I’ll take you through the fragrance properly in my next review. 🌸

A little piece of the Philippines in the world of Arabian perfumery. 🇵🇭🤎

During my visit to Teeb Al Hazm in Abu Dhabi, I discovered something I never knew — the Philippines is home to several species of trees that produce agarwood, also known as oud.

As a Filipina exploring the world of fragrances, that was such a proud little discovery. 🥹

From experiencing the richness of oud at Al Haramain to discovering perfume oils and the beautiful tradition of bakhoor, it reminded me that perfumery is so much more than just smelling good.

It’s history, culture, and craftsmanship, all captured in a scent.

And somehow, knowing the stories behind a fragrance makes it even more special. ✨

Some fragrances are easy to fall in love with. Others take a little getting used to🤎

Vanilla Edesia by @electimusslondon ✨

I wore this yesterday, and one thing I couldn’t ignore was its presence.

It’s warm, sensual, and a little mysterious, but definitely not your typical soft, comforting vanilla.

There’s something about the frankincense and woods that gives it this intensity. It’s inviting, but also a little intimidating. And throughout the day, I kept catching its scent. Wherever I went, it felt like it was still there.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it an easy fragrance to love. I can imagine some people finding it a little too strong, while others would be completely drawn to it.

And strangely enough, if I were to describe this perfume as a love story, it would be the one that got away.

Not because it’s necessarily romantic, but because it’s the kind of presence you don’t easily forget.

The kind you might not fully appreciate at first, but somehow, it stays with you.

And I think that’s what makes Vanilla Edesia interesting to me.

Would you wear a fragrance that commands attention, or do you prefer something that stays close to the skin? 🤎
