柔術を始めて11年、紫帯になりました

留学生としてマレーシアに来て3年半。
マレーシアのジム (DAISHO)で紫帯を巻くことができて、本当に嬉しいです。

紫帯になっても、やることは今までと変わらず。
青帯だった時よりもいろんな大会に挑戦して、もっと強くなって、上を目指していきたいと思います。

ここまで支えてくれたコーチ、練習仲間、道場、そして関わってくれたみんな、本当にありがとうございます！

新しい章が始まっただけ。
これからもよろしくお願いします！！

11 years of Jiu-Jitsu and I got Purple Belt

I came to Malaysia as an international student 3 and a half years ago, and I’m really happy that I got Purple Belt here in Malaysia.

Even though I’m a Purple Belt now, nothing really changes. I’ll keep training, keep competing, and keep working to become a better version of myself.

Thank you so much to all my coaches @fit3jiujitsu , training partners, my gym @daishojiujitsu , and everyone who has supported me along the way!

MALE JIU-JITSU (NE-WAZA GI) | ADVANCED | ADULT | -69 KG

1ST PLACE 🥇

Three tough fights against the same opponent, who was heavier than me and also had a higher belt rank.

I was able to trust my process and get the win every time.

Very big thanks to Professor @maxleehh for cornering me, Team @muayfit.subang and my gym @daishojiujitsu for all the support. I really appreciate it.

🥋 SJJIF COMPETITION | LAST WEEKEND 🥋

Another weekend, another opportunity for our kids to step outside their comfort zone and challenge themselves.

Huge congratulations to Kiara for bringing home 🥈 Silver in No-Gi and 🥉 Bronze in Gi! What makes us even more proud is seeing how much courage and determination you showed on the mats.

To Connor & Iva — you may not have gotten the result you wanted this time, but please know that we are just as proud of you. Losing your first fight is never easy, but having the courage to step onto the mat, face your opponent and give everything you have already makes you a winner in our eyes.

Competition is not always about medals. Sometimes, it’s about learning how to stay calm when you’re nervous, getting back up when things don’t go your way, and finding the courage to try again.

Every match, every win, every loss — it’s all part of your journey. Keep your heads up, keep training, and keep believing in yourselves.

What a day for the Daisho kids!

A huge congratulations to every single competitor who stepped on the mats last Saturday. Whether it was your first competition or you’ve competed before, you showed courage, determination, and heart. We’re so proud of every one of you!

Competing is never easy. It takes preparation, discipline, and the courage to put yourself out there. Win or lose, every match is a learning experience, and every one of you came home stronger. 💪🏻

🥈 SOUTHEAST ASIA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Kiara’s first appearance on the national stage and she came ready.

2 wins. 1 hard-fought final against the champion, decided by the smallest margin. She leaves with a well-earned Silver Medal.

What makes this result even more meaningful is the consistency behind it. Before this championship, Kiara had just competed at the IBJJF Pan Kids, where she secured Bronze. Now, she steps onto another major stage and proves once again that she belongs among the best.

This is not a one-time performance. This is the result of consistent training, discipline, and commitment under Daishō Jiu-Jitsu.

And we’re not done yet.

Next stop: ASJJF World Championship in Japan.
