🥋 SJJIF COMPETITION | LAST WEEKEND 🥋

Another weekend, another opportunity for our kids to step outside their comfort zone and challenge themselves.

Huge congratulations to Kiara for bringing home 🥈 Silver in No-Gi and 🥉 Bronze in Gi! What makes us even more proud is seeing how much courage and determination you showed on the mats.

To Connor & Iva — you may not have gotten the result you wanted this time, but please know that we are just as proud of you. Losing your first fight is never easy, but having the courage to step onto the mat, face your opponent and give everything you have already makes you a winner in our eyes.

Competition is not always about medals. Sometimes, it’s about learning how to stay calm when you’re nervous, getting back up when things don’t go your way, and finding the courage to try again.

Every match, every win, every loss — it’s all part of your journey. Keep your heads up, keep training, and keep believing in yourselves.

We are proud of you not only for what you achieved, but for who you are becoming.

Keep going, kids. This is only the beginning.

🥋 COPA JIU JITSU JUNIOR 2026

What a day for the Daisho kids!

A huge congratulations to every single competitor who stepped on the mats last Saturday. Whether it was your first competition or you’ve competed before, you showed courage, determination, and heart. We’re so proud of every one of you!

Competing is never easy. It takes preparation, discipline, and the courage to put yourself out there. Win or lose, every match is a learning experience, and every one of you came home stronger. 💪🏻

And to our amazing parents, teammates, coaches, and everyone who came all the way to Cyberjaya to support the kids — thank you! Your support means so much to our little warriors. ❤️

🏆 3rd Place Overall Team

This podium belongs to ALL OF YOU. Every match, every point, every cheer, and every effort contributed to this achievement.

We’re proud of you!
Keep training, keep learning, and keep showing up.

OSS! 🤙🏻

🥈 SOUTHEAST ASIA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Kiara’s first appearance on the national stage and she came ready.

2 wins. 1 hard-fought final against the champion, decided by the smallest margin. She leaves with a well-earned Silver Medal.

What makes this result even more meaningful is the consistency behind it. Before this championship, Kiara had just competed at the IBJJF Pan Kids, where she secured Bronze. Now, she steps onto another major stage and proves once again that she belongs among the best.

This is not a one-time performance. This is the result of consistent training, discipline, and commitment under Daishō Jiu-Jitsu.

And we’re not done yet.

Next stop: ASJJF World Championship in Japan.

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep competing.

The journey has only just begun. 🥋🔥

🇲🇾 Alex’s First National Appearance 🥋

Alex’s first appearance at the national level, proudly representing Malaysia and Daishō Jiujitsu 🇲🇾

He may not have made it to the podium this time, but he secured 1 win and gained valuable experience competing on the national stage.

For us, this is more than just medals. It’s about having the courage to step up, represent your country, and learn from every experience.

We’re proud of you, Alex. Keep training, keep improving, and keep believing.

This is only the beginning. 🥋🔥🇲🇾

🥇 6 GOLD | 🥈 2 SILVER | 🥉 1 BRONZE

🥉 3RD PLACE OVERALL 🥉

11 competitors. Every single one stepped onto the mat and gave everything they had.

Some had tough wins. Some had to fight back from behind on points and finish the match with a submission. Some faced very tough opponents and came up short ..but they fought hard until the end.

The medals are great, but what makes me most proud is the way they performed, showed courage, and never gave up.

Win or lose, every match is part of the journey. Every fight teaches us something.

Proud of all 11 of you. You represented the team with heart. ❤️‍🔥

Thank you @grapplingindustriesasia and @scrambleclash for organising such a great event and platform for our young talent to shine ❤️ can’t wait for the next one !

The work continues. Oss! 🥋 taken in Daisho Jiujitsu by @daishobjjkids
