DANILO HAMAZAKI — WIN THE TOP GAME

Known for his dynamic guard passing, explosive movement, and technical precision, Danilo Hamazaki brings a competition-focused approach to Jiu-Jitsu that goes beyond simply passing the guard.

Score first. Take the top. Control the match.

In competition, the first score can change the entire match. Learn how to create opportunities to score first, pass the guard with purpose, establish dominant top control, and keep your opponent under constant pressure.

The goal is not just to pass — it’s to make your opponent uncomfortable, limit their options, dictate the pace, and force them to react to your game.

Through dynamic movement, strategic pressure, and attention to the smallest technical details, Danilo will help athletes develop a more effective and purposeful top game for competition.

Don’t just play the match. Learn to dictate it.

🥋 SJJIF COMPETITION | LAST WEEKEND 🥋

Another weekend, another opportunity for our kids to step outside their comfort zone and challenge themselves.

Huge congratulations to Kiara for bringing home 🥈 Silver in No-Gi and 🥉 Bronze in Gi! What makes us even more proud is seeing how much courage and determination you showed on the mats.

To Connor & Iva — you may not have gotten the result you wanted this time, but please know that we are just as proud of you. Losing your first fight is never easy, but having the courage to step onto the mat, face your opponent and give everything you have already makes you a winner in our eyes.

Competition is not always about medals. Sometimes, it’s about learning how to stay calm when you’re nervous, getting back up when things don’t go your way, and finding the courage to try again.

Every match, every win, every loss — it’s all part of your journey. Keep your heads up, keep training, and keep believing in yourselves.

We are proud of you not only for what you achieved, but for who you are becoming.

Keep going, kids. This is only the beginning.

🥈 SOUTHEAST ASIA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Kiara’s first appearance on the national stage and she came ready.

2 wins. 1 hard-fought final against the champion, decided by the smallest margin. She leaves with a well-earned Silver Medal.

What makes this result even more meaningful is the consistency behind it. Before this championship, Kiara had just competed at the IBJJF Pan Kids, where she secured Bronze. Now, she steps onto another major stage and proves once again that she belongs among the best.

This is not a one-time performance. This is the result of consistent training, discipline, and commitment under Daishō Jiu-Jitsu.

And we’re not done yet.

Next stop: ASJJF World Championship in Japan.

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep competing.

The journey has only just begun. 🥋🔥

🇲🇾 Alex’s First National Appearance 🥋

Alex’s first appearance at the national level, proudly representing Malaysia and Daishō Jiujitsu 🇲🇾

He may not have made it to the podium this time, but he secured 1 win and gained valuable experience competing on the national stage.

For us, this is more than just medals. It’s about having the courage to step up, represent your country, and learn from every experience.

We’re proud of you, Alex. Keep training, keep improving, and keep believing.

This is only the beginning. 🥋🔥🇲🇾
