August high notes with sound! 🤭🤭🫶🏽✨ by @daitrell

✌🏽 TO AUGUST

There were a lot of high notes (quite literally 😂😂) I intentionally took on an overlapping schedule of performances, rehearsals, ongoing community volunteer work with @artsdavidson , and being present with my family to see how I could juggle it all again.

I was able to open for Nick Hayes & The Cufflinx, I was able to strut my fawwwnky stuff as Motormouth Maybelle, for me a head nod and salute to The Queen Latifah (as well as giving Cleo under the wig - and yes we set it OFF! 😂)

I also closed out the month performing for @lexingtonncpride ‘s Pride Festival and surrounding myself with family and community. Excited to see what September will bring!

S/o to @miracle1914 @yourstrulyqueenb @khyllifuentes and @thatgirl_kaylaa for highlights! by @daitrell
