I consider this a heartbreak turned masterpiece. After two years in the making, I would love to FINALLY share with the world my first collection of poetry ‘a library of ex-lovers,’ will be available for purchase August 29, 2023.

This past week was rough for so many reasons-mentally, emotionally, even spiritually. But this weekend? This weekend FILLED me. It reminded me of my calling, my
purpose, and the reason I do what I do. Sometimes, it’s easy to stray, to get caught up in the chaos of the world, to feel distant from the path God set before me. But every time I start to drift, He catches me. He covers me. He shows me grace, even when I don’t deserve it. I couldn’t be more grateful. 🤍

It’s so easy to complain about all the things in life that are going wrong, but sometimes we just have to pause and be grateful for all the things that are still going right.

This weekend really put things into perspective for me. I was reminded me that I am currently standing in the midst of answered prayers, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities that are unfolding right in front of me. Every event, every conversation, and every moment in between has been a gentle reminder of how far I’ve come and how much more is still ahead.

Gratitude is so powerful, as it can shift our perspectives from what’s lacking to what’s abundance.
