5 years ago I was 15.5 hrs away from home when I got the call that it was time. We didn’t want to know the gender but I felt something when we found out we were going to have another. I knew it was a boy. A boy I always wanted. A boy who was meant to anchor my feet, give me patience, force me to trust, be brave, be present, be vulnerable, love deeper than I ever thought I could. Frankly, you forced me to be a man. Thank you.

One year. No booze.

I’ve thought a lot about how I wanted to say this… truth is, there’s too much to even put into words. So I’ll keep it simple.

My confidence is at an all-time high.
My mind is clear—I see things differently now.
My relationships are stronger across the board—family, friends, my kids, clients… everyone.

There’s a lot more I could say, but the biggest thing is this—
life got better when I got out of my own way.

Grateful for the growth. Just getting started. 👊
