Counting down the days until Miss GeCo and Miss CoCo get to Peanut Weekend! 🤍🥜

To share a little story, I remember walking into Peanut Orientation back in May feeling completely nervous. Afraid I didn’t have the “look,” afraid I didn’t have the “confidence,” afraid my voice was just too “soft,” and afraid I wasn’t always five steps ahead of where I was going.

When it came time to draw our contestant numbers, I remember pulling number “47” and waiting to see who would be my 48. As it came down to the final two girls left to draw, I heard Miss Coffee County, Stella Carnley, say, “Contestant #48!”

I smiled with assurance.

Even in the short time I had known her, I could already tell Stella was a girl’s girl. She’s the kind of girl who will make you laugh, remind you of your worth when you start questioning yourself, turn an awkward moment into a joke, and cheer you on every step of the way. She’s all of those things and so much more.

She was the friend I didn’t know I would need.

Looking back, I couldn’t imagine sharing this experience with anyone else. What started as two girls drawing back-to-back numbers has turned into a friendship I will forever be thankful for. I thank God every day for allowing this sweet friendship to blossom, and I truly believe He knew exactly what He was doing when He placed us side by side. 🫶🏻

PJs & Pancakes Peanut Party! 🥞🎶☁️🌙

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the PJs & Pancakes Peanut Party, hosted by the Geneva County, Malvern, and Slocomb Queens, such a great event!

We are so thankful for everyone who volunteered, donated, and came out to spend the afternoon with us. It was a wonderful time filled with dancing, music, a delicious pancake bar, and plenty of laughter. Most importantly, we enjoyed getting to share the day with so many wonderful fellow queens.

Events like these wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community, and we truly appreciate everyone who helped make the day a success. Thank you for being a part of such a fun afternoon—we hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Dear Alabama Girls State,

Thank you for the experience of a lifetime! Walking onto the University of Alabama campus, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I was nervous to ask questions or seek guidance because it seemed as though everyone around me already knew the answers, had experience, or started running for positions.

However, as Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Alabama Girls State taught me that education goes far beyond the classroom. It is found in the conversations we have, the challenges we face, and the opportunities that push us to grow. While I allowed my doubts and perceptions to influence me, I never let them define me.

Throughout the week, I had the opportunity to collaborate with educated, driven young women who were ready to lead. From their confidence, I realized I could lead too—not because of my financial, ethical, or social background, but because of my ability to speak from the heart. I may not have run for the highest office, but I ran for every opportunity I could. After preparing speeches and stepping outside my comfort zone, I ran for State Board of Education and Devotion Chair while also serving through the AGS Newspaper and Choir.

At the end of the week, I was honored to receive the Good Citizen Award for City 13: Camellia, voted on by my fellow city peers, which made the recognition especially meaningful.

Though I may never have the loudest voice in the room, Alabama Girls State taught me that leadership is measured by impact, not volume. Thank you for helping shape the future I hope to pursue: one dedicated to serving others, advancing education, and empowering women to succeed.

With gratitude,

PEANUT, here we come!! 🥜✨

Orientation day was filled with so much love, laughter, friendship, and the opportunity to meet so many new people! My fellow contestants and I took our headshots, got fitted for opening number, received our contestant numbers, and even found out who our roommates would be!

@stella_carnley, I am beyond excited to share this Peanut experience with you as my official roommate!! 🤍

This journey is already so special, and I cannot wait to see what this adventure has in store. Let the memories begin! ✨

Where do I begin…

There is so much on my heart as I write this, and I’m not sure words will ever fully capture what this moment means to me… but here it is:

On Saturday, April 18th, I was crowned the 2026 Miss Geneva County.

If you had told me even a year ago that I would be standing on that stage, much less wearing this crown, I wouldn’t have believed you. I walked into this world of pageantry as someone completely new—unsure, a little intimidated, and honestly just hoping to grow. Never in my life did I imagine I would be chosen to represent a county that has shaped me, loved me, and given me so much to fight for.

Geneva County is more than a place—it’s people, it’s stories, it’s resilience, it’s love. And now I get the honor of carrying that with me everywhere I go. On stage, I was asked what qualities make me a good ambassador. In that moment, I said resilience and passion—but what I didn’t say is how hard those things have been to build. Because resilience doesn’t come without falling.
And passion doesn’t exist without something that breaks your heart enough to make you want to change it.

I have failed. I have doubted myself. I have felt like I didn’t belong in rooms like that stage. But every single time, God placed something in my heart that told me to get back up—and not just for myself, but for something bigger.

For my community.
For the children who feel unseen.
For the people who need someone to remind them they matter.

My prayer going into this was simple: “Lord, let me be a light.”

And that is still my mission now. This crown is not just something I wear—it’s a responsibility I carry. As Miss Geneva County, I will continue to be a voice and a proactive advocate for the foster children in our community, because they deserve to be seen, loved, and fought for every single day. Because at the end of it all, crown or no crown, my true purpose is this:
To be a queen of people’s hearts. And that is something no title could ever give or take away.

To everyone who has poured into me, supported me, and stood beside me—I am who I am because of you. Thank you for pouring your time and effort into this next chapter of my life.

Love,
