“What can I offer up to the Lord for he has been good to me?” Psalm 116:12 - a verse that has stuck with me for a long time. It’s almost a week later, and I am still in complete awe of the Lord’s goodness. This past Saturday I was crowned the 2026 Miss National Peanut Festival, the 82nd one to be exact! I cannot wait to see all of the fun and meaningful things Lottie and I are able to do this year!

Being able to serve as Miss National Peanut Festival has not just been a goal of mine for a couple of years, but a lifelong dream, and at times a dream that felt almost unattainable. But, if there is one thing that I have learned in the past several months, is that the Lord doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies those he calls. I know every gift, talent, or qualification bestowed upon me has been given to me from Christ.

There have been several pieces of scripture that I’ve held close to my heart these past several months, so I thought I would share them with you all.

Matthew 5:16- “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”- to remind me where my light and my joy come from, and to make shining his light my goal every day.

Romans 8:28- “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”- for the times when I didn’t know how God was moving, I just knew he was.

1 Peter 4:10- Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”- to remind me that my gifts are from the Lord, therefore I should use them to glorify him.

And now, Esther 4:14- “And who knows, perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this.”- to remind me today, tomorrow, and the rest of my reign, that I am here serving for a reason.

I am greatly honored and truly humbled to be serving this year! Officially signing in, I am your 2026, Miss National Peanut Festival, Juliana Jackson 🤍

A few days later and i’m still speechless. I was so anxious to leave the world for the three days that I was in dothan and one song came to mind to help me through it. I Won’t Back Down. I promised myself I wouldn’t let my nerves get in the way of my experience and i wouldn’t back down against the challenges that were to come. My goal coming into peanut weekend was simple: be myself. that’s exactly what i did. I am so grateful for this opportunity to represent washington county proudly. I have met so many intelligent and beautiful young women and my peanut journey has been a blessing in so many ways. When my name was called for Top 15 I knew that all of my work had paid off.

Thank you to @competitive_image for all of the help and encouragement. I felt so prepared going into the weekend and I have learned so much from everyone there

Congratulations @_juliana_jack there is no doubt in my mind that you will represent the national peanut festival perfectly.

Thank you to everyone who sent me encouraging messages and let me know that they were supporting me from home. Most importantly i’d like to thank my mom. Leaving her for the weekend was one of the hardest things i’ve ever had to do. I know that i wouldn’t have even made it to orientation without her.

Washington county- I love you 🩵

THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!!!

It was an honor to represent Coffee County at the Miss National Peanut Festival Pageant! So thankful for everyone who made this experience better than I could have ever imagined.

Beyond grateful to have placed in the Top 15, earned Top 5 in peanut knowledge, and won Stage Presence and Evening Gown!

Holding on to these memories and the people this journey brought me EXTRA tight!!! 🤍 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” -Numbers 6:24-26
