Food AND a workshop at Dalaya Thai!? Yes you resd that right! Don’t miss this unique experience cohosted with our friends @caravanartbazaar who will walk us through the creation of floral lanterns used in the annual Thai celebration known as Loy Krathong.

Chef Gun has a three course meal for us to enjoy after the workshop segment is over, and all guests are welcome to take their lanterns home after the meal!

Even though Loy Krathong is celebrated on the 24th this year, we wanted to get a head start since flowers and banana plants will be harder to come by that late in the year.

Big, big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 7 Year Anniversary over the weekend! Our Block Party and our 7 Years Dinner were a huge success. So many happy faces and full tummies 🎉

Special thanks to all the folks who bought raffle tickets to the fundraiser helping our friends. Extra special thanks to all those who bought tickets to our 7 Years Dinner Monday night.

Dinner time with some (beautiful) light reading. Literally. Enjoying a Thai Iced Tea with a hot bowl of Plaa Todd as we browse through the gorgeous photos of “Trembling Earth” by David Walter Banks.

Somehow fried catfish curry tastes even better paired with these mesmerizing photos of the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia.

This beauty hits a bit harder, though, knowing places like this are threatened to be destroyed. The Clean Water Act is currently under attack, and public comments to defend it end TONIGHT Oct 9th. Follow the link in our bio to speak up in protecting wetlands across the nation.

UPDATE 10-08* Roadless Rule comments are now closed BUT there is still time to help protect the nations Wetlands! Check link in bio

We love these mountains! And we’re pretty sure many of you love them, too! Unfortunately, we have just a few hours left to share public comments against the proposed rescinding of the Roadless Rule.

The 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule helps protect places we love from being destroyed by preventing things like commercial logging and road building.

Over 44 million acres of public land in the U.S. are under threat.

Places like Western North Carolina have already lost so much. Roughly 822,000 acres of forestland throughout 17 counties in WNC were damaged or destroyed by the impacts of Hurricane Helene.

With roughly 144,000 acres of public land in WNC threatened by the potential loss of the Roadless Rule. Two years after Helene and WNC continues to heal and rebuild. Have we not lost enough?

Dismantling the Roadless Rule doesn’t just impact land. About 400 endangered species of wildlife are at risk of a fast track to extinction and thousands more in danger.

We must speak up to protect these lands, these mountains, these trees, these animals, these magical beings and places that cannot speak for themselves.

We are in the final hours to speak up and help protect 44 million acres of public land across the Unites States. Public comments to speak out against the dismantling of the Roadless Rule ends TONIGHT 11:59pm EST Tuesday October 6th.

LUNCH! Did you know we’re open for lunch Tuesday through Friday 11am-2:30pm? Well now you know 🤌🏽

Our Lunch offers a limited menu with a few items not available on our Dinner menu, like our Kra Paw! Kra Paw features minced pork or tofu with basil, chili, and garlic served with a fried egg and jasmine rice.

Lunch is take-out or patio seating only. Sorry, but no dogs allowed on the patio. Or tigers, or bears, oh my!

Although you might get lucky and see our friend Mango do a fly by or two during your meal!

Thank you so much to all our wonderful fans who voted for us in this years Best of WNC. It’s the same thing so many others have been saying but it’s so, so true - we wouldn’t be here without our customers and we are so grateful for y’all!
