Why is supporting Inspire Napa Valley important to you?

“Wine, at its core, is about gathering people around a table. Inspire Napa Valley takes that same instinct and points it somewhere that matters — funding research and supporting families living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. There’s something right about a community built on generosity using what it does best — wine, land, time — to help others. Dalla Valle has always been a family story; supporting INV feels like an extension of that.”

What is your favorite memory from an Inspire Napa Valley event?

“For me, it’s watching the gathering itself — seeing legends like Brad Grimes, Françoise Peschon, Jorge Delgado, and David Cilli all step in shoulder to shoulder, not for recognition but just to make sure every guest felt welcome, well-fed, and well-poured. That kind of generosity, from people who’ve already given so much to this valley, says everything about why this event works.”

If someone is thinking to attend Inspire Napa Valley for the first time, what would you tell them?

“Come with curiosity, not expectation. It’s easy to picture these weekends as just elevated drinking, but the heart of it is the people — the stories behind the wines, and the seriousness of purpose behind the glass. Don’t skip the research talks; the updates from the Alzheimer’s Association and the scientific advisory board are genuinely informative, and they’re a powerful reminder of why everyone’s actually there. Talk to the winemakers, ask questions, don’t worry about sounding like an expert. Most people there are just generous, curious, and glad to be part of something good.”

What is one bottle you would open to celebrate a meaningful occasion, and why?

AAPI Month at Nisei 🌸

Here, at Nisei, we are welcoming the month of May with a series of experiences celebrating community, craftsmanship, and collaboration.

We begin on May 3rd with our Bakers & Makers event, bringing together a range of talented members from the AAPI Bay Area community for a day of creativity, connection, and shared inspiration.

On May 28th, we are honored to host an intimate Dalle Valle Wine Tasting Experience — a guided evening with the winemaker, complemented by canapés crafted by our kitchen team.

To conclude the month, we welcome Chef Dae Kim formerly of @noksunyc, for two collaboration nights on May 30th and 31st, presenting a thoughtful culinary exchange between New York and San Francisco.

Throughout May, we are proud to support @bayresistance, an organization dedicated to protecting and uplifting our communities. A portion of the proceeds this month will contribute to their important work.

Late to post but what an epic series of events for @vinhiphop in LA! Had the best time with the best producers and friends 10/10 all around.

Dinner @republique.restaurantla with @chambollois and @dallavallevineyards was the perfect pairing of Burgundy x Napa. Was an honor to show our wines alongside them. Thank you @sarahclarkewine for making it so perfect 🤩

Congratulations @milenaberman @hautes_cotes @drinkdujac for bringing this to life stateside and merci for letting me be in on the fun! And thank you @verse.la @mannymarroquin @matias_marroquin for making it epic!

Tomorrow, we open the pre-release of two wines that carry the soul of our estate and the voice of a singular vintage—exclusively for our mailing list.

The 2023 Dalla Valle Cabernet Sauvignon and Maya were shaped by patience, precision, and a deep respect for place. A year that unfolded gently in the vineyard, allowing clarity, balance, and quiet power to emerge—layer by layer.

These wines reflect where we stand today: grounded in our history, guided by intention, and always in conversation with the vineyard.
