POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I realized I haven’t posted anything on Instagram since 2024. A lots happened since then - probably the best but hardest 2 years of my life thus far.

Lost loved ones, started a new job, Georgias growing up - she’ll be 6 in a few months, hospital visits, started a business - closed that business, me and Bridgett went back to school at WGU for business and education - Bridgett got her first teaching role this year, welcomed our 3lbs baby Olivia into the world - she’s 15lbs now, watching Georgia grow into an amazing big sister and Bridgett a mother of two - I’m still figuring out how to be a better dad in a house full of girls, bought a gym - running a successful business and growing daily, sold my truck, competed in a Highland Games show, spent lots of time with friends

Stressful couple of years there. Lots of growth and learning happened.

•USS Nationals 2023•

Well, my first “big” show is finished. I placed 17 out of 42 very strong guys. I went into this show extremely beat up and was honestly only at about 75% health. I haven’t been able to deadlift at all for a month now due to some pretty rough back injuries. Things have not been ideal whatsoever here lately but I’m ready for some much needed rest.

I’ll be taking a break from competing for a bit to give my body time to get back to 100%.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me thus far and cheered me on. I’ll be back at it soon enough.

Small training dump from this week. Deadlifts are feeling great right now, pressing is going as planned.

Got some big numbers planned over the next few weeks before heading out to @uss_nationals_2023

Strongman Saturday at @revolution.strength

Worked up to a single @ 300lbs on Axle today. I can safely say my back issues are resolving their self and I’m getting back to my normal self in training. Time to start pushing the weight for @uss_nationals_2023

Giveaway package from @strengthletecollective & @1stphorm came in today! Much appreciated!

By far, this was some of the best protein powder I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to try the rest!

Quick recap from today’s competition.

Ended with 1st at Battle of the Bourbon State in Dayton KY SHW Open. Was a fun day with some great people. Met some new friends as always and gained a little more experience than what I came in with.

This show qualified me for @uss_nationals_2023 and as long as everything goes to plan, I plan on competing in Dallas, TX next year.

Thanks to all my friends, family, and community for the tremendous amount of support in doing what I love.
