Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS! 👻🎶

Bring some spooky fun to your next PE lesson with this Halloween game! 🎃🙌

👻 How to play:
Get the class to draw ghost faces on a plastic bags to create their own floating ghost, then toss it into the air!

The Ghostbusters throw tennis balls or beanbags, trying to knock the ghosts out of the sky before they reach the ground! 🎯

Take turns being the ghost throwers and the Ghostbusters so everyone gets a go. Can you catch those ghosts? 👀

🎃 Shooting Pumpkins 🎯👻

A fast-paced Halloween dodge-and-aim game full of energy, teamwork & accuracy! 🧡💨

🧠 How to Play:
🔸 Split into two teams starting on opposite end lines 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
🔹 On “GO!”, players run to collect a ball, then return to their wall before throwing ⚡️
🔸 From behind a line, try to knock down the pumpkins (cones) sitting on benches in the middle 🎯
🔹 If you miss, the ball goes to the other team! Stay on your side & keep firing until all pumpkins are down 🎃
🏆 The team with the most pumpkins knocked over wins!

Hula Hut Cone Knock Down 🎯⭕️

A brilliant team challenge combining building, throwing accuracy and teamwork - with plenty of fun along the way! 🙌

🧠 How to Play:

🔶 Place a pointy cone in the middle of your playing area
🔷 Working as a team, use the hula hoops to build a “hut” around the cone ⭕️
🔶 Once your Hula Hut is complete, move back to the throwing line
🔷 Take turns using a softball to aim through the hut 🎯
🔶 Try to knock down the cone inside without knocking over your Hula Hut!
🔷 Reset the cone and keep going, giving everyone a chance to have a throw 🙌

Here’s a game for our older pupils! 🗺️⏱️

Score Orienteering is ideal for 5th and 6th class, with a focus on navigation, strategy and decision making.

🧠 How to Play:

🔶 Place controls around the area with different values: green = 10 points, yellow = 20 and red = 30
🔷 Give each team a map, control sheet and score sheet
🔶 Set a timer for 10 minutes
🔷 Teams choose their own route and visit controls in any order
🔶 Return to base before time runs out and add up the points!

🔥 Make it harder: Take away 10 points for every minute a team returns late.

🎯 Skill Focus: NAVIGATION • STRATEGY • DECISION MAKING • TEAMWORK

Hoop Roll and Spin 🏃‍♂️⭕️

A fun partner challenge that develops speed, reactions and coordination while keeping everyone moving! ⚡

🧠 How to Play:

🔶 Pupils work in pairs with one hoop each
🔷 Stand facing your partner while holding your hoops
🔶 Count down together from three
🔷 On “GO!”, spin both hoops at the same time ⭕️
🔶 Quickly swap places with your partner
🔷 Catch their hoop before it hits the floor! 🙌
🔶 After each successful round, take a step backwards to increase the distance and difficulty

SPEED • REACTION TIME • COORDINATION • AGILITY • TEAMWORK
