Our second-place winner in the Power Up Your Sports Day competition, the Racing Raspberry, created by a 5th class student at St Oliver Plunkett NS, Louth won an action-packed day of fitness and fun for her school! 🎉💪🏻

Students from Junior Infants right up to 6th Class took part in 30-minute activity sessions filled with different exercises, music, and exciting challenges.

The classes were led by the fantastic fitness experts from @dalyexercise ! It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, staying active, and having so much fun together.

A huge congratulations again to our deserving winner! We hope the whole school had an amazing day! 👏🏻🤸🏻‍♀️

@dalyexercise shared this fun fishing game with me! To adapt it for different needs, I’d use a litter picker so kids can build grip strength, or offer hand-over-hand support from teachers, SNAs, or coaches. Adapt and have fun!

🎓🏃‍♂️ PE vs Physical Activity — what’s the difference?

They might look similar… but they’re not the same 👀

Physical Activity = moving your body (running around, playing, burning energy)
Physical Education (PE) = learning how to move — developing skills, confidence, coordination & understanding movement
At CORE Kids we focus on the learning behind the movement 💜🧡👦🏼👧🏻

🎥 Listen to Coach Gary explain!
👇 Did you know there was a difference?

Grow the Game…. Be Creative… Inspire….It’s all about the ABCs (AGILITY Balance Coordination) at this age…. The kids LOVE this game!!!! Gets them moving, reacting fast, and is so much fun!!!! Coach calls an object.. Player(s) must grab the same colored cone as the object and make it back without getting hit by the fireballs…. @mercercoparks @topspinmonkeys @coachgelardi @dalyexercise #tenniscoach #parksandrecreation #kidstennisdevelopment #pegames #preschoolfun #preschoolactivities #kindergartenactivities #happykids #dodge #tiktok #instagram #viral #trending #kidstennis #tennisforkids #funwarmup #insta #instalike #instadaily #activekids #makethemwantocomeback #kidsactivities #funactivities #love #like #follow #bethatcoach #tennislover #tennislessons #explore
