Press Tour’26! Join me for 4-hour intensive workshop where you’ll learn printmaking using linocut technique. Carve, roll ink, press & print as many as you can.

With new-upgraded tools (no more finger cramps, I promise!), and new venue partners - I’m closer than ever to you. You’ll be taking more than you expect, allowing your wild ideas come to life.

As this year comes to a close, my goal is to take my new press on a tour and make people fall in love with printmaking.

So, no experience needed, all it takes is kindness and a little bit of patience to get started. So come in for a lovely meditative session and leave with beautiful art prints for your new year.

📍Panjim, Parra, Mandrem, Surat
🪑Only 6-8 per session

This Sunday, we hosted a little community pottery night at the studio… and honestly, I don’t think Damkat had ever felt this warm and loved!! 💜

Nobody really came with ideas or plans …. everyone just made whatever felt fun. A cup for a lover, a spikey ramen bowl, a wind chime I CANNOT WAIT to glaze and assemble, a bowl with gooogly eyes and sooo much more!!

This was only the beginning of all the Sundays I want to spend making thingss with all of u. 🥹💘

COMMUNITY POTTERY NIGHT 🫶🏽💘🍬

After a crazyyy Potter’s Market, Damkat is opening up the studio for a little community pottery night.

We don’t usually do one-time pottery sessions — so this one’s a little different. No class. No agenda. Just clay, music, people and a couple of hours of making trinkets with your hands.

Come try hand-building and make something weird, or just come hang. No experience needed! 💘💘

6 spots only | Dm to register 🗡️
Date : 4th October, Sunday
Timings : 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Nishat (@nishat_03 ) just finished her first round of hand-building sessions with me…🫶🏼🥹❤️

I loved her approach to making functional forms from day one! Whether it was a pour-over for someone she loves or a funny little cup with long fingers just for herself…🤪

soo many of you think @dam.katt is based out of Poona or Bombay…… but Damkat is actually based in Surat. 🤎

I moved back home in February and started this studio in March. The idea was never to simply open a pottery studio, but to create a space to practice, experiment and bring artists together.

Six months in, it’s been so special watching people walk in with their little projects, come to learn..make..talk..orsimply spend time together.

I’ve always imagined Damkat as a space for different mediums and artists…which is how @_coyoteeee ended up renting another room in the same space to paint. She brought a whimsical energy to the studio and somewhere between ceramics..painting..shared ideas and lots of gossip, we decided to put together our first Potter’s Market!! 💘😭💘

And here we are 🥹🥹
