It’s all coming together! Adding a new date to the press tour because I’m bringing the press to the neighbourhood & planning to get a whole lot spooky with @makersasylum on 31st October! Stay tuned to see the part 2 and the epic kit you get to take home! Come be part of something whimsical and spend a weekend afternoon making things with me at the Press Tour. 🔗 Workshop details are link in bio #printmakingworkshop #linocutprint #thingstodoingoa #antibrainrot #inkonblock

I’m starting this Press Tour so I can take this mini press out of my studio and introduce printmaking to people who enjoy exploring creative mediums. @lafalab @barefootgoa @mirador.mandrem and @dam.katt are the portals for all of us to come together and enjoy the artistry of ink on paper. You don’t need to be good at sketch but you need a story that you’d like to express. If you think you’re not creative, let us give you a chance to transpire that. So come alone or with your mom-dad & friends. You’ll take away all the techniques of Linocut Printmaking along with a framed art piece for your home, toolkit for your next art and the ephemerals of the workshop. 📎Register using Link in Bio 🪩Workshop flow on sushimushi.in/linocut #artworkshop #linocutting #printmakingworkshop #goa #surat

Press Tour’26! Join me for 4-hour intensive workshop where you’ll learn printmaking using linocut technique. Carve, roll ink, press & print as many as you can. With new-upgraded tools (no more finger cramps, I promise!), and new venue partners - I’m closer than ever to you. You’ll be taking more than you expect, allowing your wild ideas come to life. As this year comes to a close, my goal is to take my new press on a tour and make people fall in love with printmaking. So, no experience needed, all it takes is kindness and a little bit of patience to get started. So come in for a lovely meditative session and leave with beautiful art prints for your new year. 📍Panjim, Parra, Mandrem, Surat 🪑Only 6-8 per session 🔗 Register for Panjim (18th Oct) closes this Friday 🫶🏻More details via link in bio #printmakingworkshop #linocut #thingstodoingoa #goaworkshop #artistdate

The Cure of the Lunatics This satirical vase references one of the oldest forms of psychosurgery, Trepanation — a precursor to lobotomy dating back to Neolithic times. Historically, the procedure was used not only to treat skull fractures, but also madness and supposed demonic possession (the priests and mental institutions were not playing, istg). Patients who survived this high-risk intervention often reported a mellowing and lessening of erratic behaviour. This piece is a theatrical ode to the neurotics, and to the strange solace found in historically mystic forms of recourse. *10:30AM THIS SUNDAY, the studio opens up to two fellow Makers! THIS IS NOT a Make-and-take Workshop. IT IS a gathering for people who have had an itch to work with their hands, meet a new medium, create collaboratively and spend time understanding a process beyond just making one finished object. This session brings together two artists and two mediums: *Stoneware Clay* with a ceramic artist @dam.katt Shape, build & understand the nature of clay, and arrive at forms through this process. *Wax moulding* with a brass jewellery artist @foolstop.design Work with wax as a starting point for form, texture, carefully carving jewellery or miniatures Your pieces can also be taken forward after the session; Glazed in the case of ceramics, or cast into brass in the case of wax moulding. There are only 10 spots; 5 for ceramics, 5 for wax moulding, with a scope for interchangeably working with both mediums. The intention is for both processes to exist in the same space, so people can observe, exchange, respond to each other’s work, and maybe even collaborate! Duration: 3–4 hours (starting 10:30am) Artist contribution: ₹1500 per person Place: The other yard, near Wonder bakers, Bhatha gaam, Pal, Surat DM to register. (please mention your primary medium)

Mini sculpture glaze experiment AND this was an incense holder (sold before i could document) + snippets of old work, new work, work that we spent a week on but it broke before getting into firing so gang @cavyaaa and I had a crash out day in the greens 🤙🏽 [ceramics, clay, hand building, incense holder]

Twisted face mini prototype (pre-firing), yet to glaze this freak. First time handling clay but my teachers would say the clay handled me. Since I have managed to find yet another medium that’s gonn humble my back, you WILL be seeing me stretch whenever necessary, and No I will not be explaining myself 😌 [ Ceramic, mini sculptures, clay ]
