POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you @officialbroadwayworld for posting about our upcoming production of “Taming: A Folk Tale” from @witches3productions .

We can’t believe we open in just under 2 weeks. This is a show that @cheyenne_dani96 , @katie_wetch & I have been working on for almost a year, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

“Taming: A Folk Tale” is a queer, vampiric, Appalachian retelling of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Steeped in mountain folklore and hungry for something new, this production takes a centuries-old story about power and partnership and turns it on its head, with a whole lot of bite.

Join us… if you dare.

🗡️WE ARE OFFICIALLY RESCHEDULED!!🗡️

WE’re back! And a little sharper this time ⚔️✨

Katie (@katie_wetch ) and Brandon (@brandon.l.wetch ) are back for a full weekend of combat! This time, we’re honing our focus on knife skills — and with a little surprise! We’ll be teaching a portion of the knife fight in our upcoming production of “Taming: A Folktale”!

Katie and Brandon Wetch are an SAFD certified combatants in the Dallas area with experience performing, choreographing, and educating! From Shakespeare to Pirates aboard the Jolly Roger, the pair have been fighting together for nearly a decade— it’s even how they met! Brandon is also the fight choreographer for our upcoming production of “Taming: A Folktale”.

While these classes are meant to build upon one another, you are able to take either the Saturday or Sunday class individually. To get the full experience, we would recommend both.

For a single-day class, we recommend Saturday to those who are just starting out or have no combat experience and Sunday if you have taken a previous workshop with us or have experience with this particular weapon as we will not be covering the basics on Sunday

✨ Learn industry-standard safety and technique
✨ Build confidence, control, and physical storytelling

Bundle both classes with our Full Weekend Ticket and save $50 while fully stepping into your strength.

Come ready to move, connect, and unleash something fearless. ✨TICKET LINK IN BIO✨

Hello Witches, Warlocks and Wheretheys!✨

This is @katie_wetch @cheyenne_dani96 and @dameegs —and we are Witches 3! A fierce Dallas based women & queer run theatre company; conjuring daring stories with sharp teeth and unapologetic spirit!!

We have gathered with a simple intention; to spark imagination, restore the play in plays, and conjure a creative space where everyone feels like they belong

We are in the process of prepping for our premiere production Taming: A Folktale, an adaptation of Taming of the Shrew set in Appalachia and featuring music by the incredible Justin Locklear @jstnlcklr

As a newer company and as three independant artists who stay busy, we could use a little help reaching our goal budget- which is why we decided to start this gofundme! The money you donate will be used to pay our artists and creatives, who are VITAL in making this beautiful show a reality!

We also have personal sponsorships gifts as a thank you for donating:

🦇 $25-$49 a playbill shoutout & handwritten note
🦇 $50-$99 Witches 3 Art print & gifts above
🦇 $100+ Witches 3 T-Shirt and all above!

In addition to Taming, we’d love to invite you to our community events, workshops, and classes! Here you can interact with the community and see directly where your donation is going. We try to alternate our events so there’s always something new!

For more information on us, our events, and the production check out www.witches3.com

Thank you so much for your support! Anything helps, big or small or even just a share and spreading the word!
