I call it “cozy coastal New England nightmare fall” vibes. To be honest the thrift stores around New England states just feel like a Widows Bay gift shop if you keep your eyes peeled. #WidowsBay #thrifthaul #halloween #newengland by @damianimated

I used to love watching Lambchop on TV as a toddler and now my dog Hogarth likes carrying her from room to room and licking her ears and throwing her stinky body on my face when I’m trying to sleep. I like to think she’s his comfort toy so I try to repair rather than buy a new one.

Just a little fun fact about Jumanji for anyone who wasn’t aware of this little fun fact. I go on justice rants about the Jumanji sequels not being necessary to the true lore of the books but most people haven’t read them and don’t care. #jumanji #zathura #childrensbooks #bookstagram by @damianimated

I’m so excited I’ve never thrifted a vintage animatronic toy that could still work. Their face mechanisms are usually broken. But this Big Bird’s face and mouth still function with specific tapes. They’re designed to play storytime tapes but any will work.

Sometimes life is hard but it’s also fun when you get to have things you couldn’t afford as a kid. #playmobil #dollhouse #author #illustrator #toys by @damianimated

Are you familiar with the vintage 90s Little Tikes Place dollhouse? I never owned one but I found them in almost every single therapists office waiting room I’d ever been in my entire life. Did you ever play with this dollhouse? #dollhouse #vintagetoys #littletikes #90stoys by @damianimated

Looks like I’m in a shared work space with Alfalfa here. And by shared I mean letting him run his small business from the office that had once belonged to me some time ago. 😢 #cats #catstagram by @damianimated

Constance is my friend. I love the way she watches over me and everyone I know with such a charming disposition. She’s practically 100 years old and she was only $7!

Does anyone else’s cat take over their desk when it’s sunny out? I even set up another chair next to mine and he still chooses my seat. I guess I’ll just pull up a stool. #cats #catstagram #busywork by @damianimated

Did anyone else here have any Fisher Price Dream dollhouse toys growing up? I never had the house but I had the car and camper. #dollhouse #fisherprice #thrifting #90skids by @damianimated

I’m surprised American Girl hasn’t already made one tbh but it was funny tossing this one together with parts and clothing I already had around. What do you think of? 🧵🪡 #Coraline #AmericanGirl #thrifting by @damianimated

Don't worry... I floss now!!! I had a lot of fun figuring out how to draw the dentist in the third panel and came up with this funky idea of readers looking outward from my mouth. I feel like I saw it in a cartoon before but I can't recall which...? Anyway, read all about my gap teeth and more in Hand-Me-Down, my latest graphic memoir available now from @01firstsecond ✨
