It’s a little embarrassing how long this took me to put together, but wow… what a perspective shift.⁠
⁠
I’ve never fully sat down and looked at the years this way. The work, the in-between seasons, the personal moments happening right alongside client projects. Each year took something different out of me, and gave something back.⁠
⁠
I’m incredibly grateful to be doing this for a living, and even more grateful for the people, opportunities, and support that made it possible.⁠
⁠
At the end of the day, I’m just a girl who put in the work (+ still putting in the work), had a lot of help along the way, and keeps showing up with big dreams for her family and future.⁠
⁠
Right now, I feel aligned, clear, and more confident than ever in my design work and in the business I’m building.⁠
⁠
Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep diving deeper into branding, packaging, and website design, and to take on new challenges that stretch me in the best ways.⁠

From word-of-mouth to a website that works just as hard as he does. 👏⁠

Brady at Dogwood Farm Designs has 12+ years of experience crafting custom cabinetry and woodworking, but until now, he didn't have a website to showcase it all.⁠

Here's what we set out to change:⁠

Seems like common sense, but something I’m realizing lately:

Being VERY specific about what I want for my business has been and will be a pretty big part of its success.

Last week, I shared that I was looking for my next FOUR website projects to wrap up the year. Four days later, I had sent out 6 website proposals. 🤯

Maybe it’s coincidence, maybe the universe is doing its thang, but I really do think there’s something to getting clear about what you want and actually putting it out there.

What do you actually want to book, sell, or accomplish over the next 3 months?

Two Chicks Homes is an award-winning licensed general contractor specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, and whole home renovations throughout the Lake Norman, NC area.⁠
⁠
During our very first call together, the Two Chicks team shared that supporting another woman-owned business was high on their priority list — and from there, the entire project felt like the perfect fit. Ashley, Missy, and Katie were an absolute dream to work with: collaborative, trusting, organized, and fully open to the design process from start to finish. ✨⁠

Together, we created a fully custom WordPress website focused on:⁠
✅ Stronger storytelling⁠
✅ Pricing transparency + expectation setting⁠
✅ Improved lead qualification⁠

I mostly stumbled my way through school, needing extra help in math and science, but always felt at home in art classes.⁠
⁠
Growing up in a small town, I didn’t really know what creative careers looked like or what my options were. I took a chance on the Graphic Design program at @ecusoad and completely fell in love with the world it opened up. ⁠
⁠
For me, graphic design perfectly blends logic and creative expression, solving problems and breaking rules. It's truly the coolest career and I feel a sense of pride any time someone asks what I do for a living.⁠
