POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I was honoured to be interviewed by @adriennegold at the Momentum Boost event. @momentum_unlimited was one of the organizations I couldn’t wait to share IMA with, because its commitment to connecting and empowering mothers speaks so deeply to the purpose of this film.

Thank you, Adrienne and Momentum for welcoming us and helping our IMA movie reach more women around the worldđŸ©· by @danalevenson

Every time I watch these reflections on IMA, I am moved all over again.
It means everything to all of us who brought IMA to life and most of all to the mothers whose voices and stories we have been entrusted to share.

IMA is making its way into the world and we cannot wait to share it with more of you. Let’s connect as humans and not by conflict

Stay tuned. Screening details coming soon. by @danalevenson

We had the best time. We always do. After more than two weeks apart again, this time being together was everything. We are doing this life thing together, wherever one of us may be in the world.

The next few months may be a little wild to say the least but we are ready for it .. because love wins. by @danalevenson

Three years after October 7, three mothers featured in IMA reflect on loss, memory, resilience, and what it means to keep moving forward.

In a new feature from @haaretzcom, Hannie Ricardo, Ayelet Levy Shachar, and Naela Fakher Aldin share their deeply personal stories of their daughters, the lives they carry with them, and the ways they continue to find meaning in the aftermath of unimaginable loss. by @danalevenson

I have heard too many times from too many people that can’t look anymore. The images are too painful. The stories too much to bear. But for the mothers of Israel, there is no looking away, not ever again.

Their voices will stay with me for the rest of my life. I will dedicate mine to making sure they are heard. The truth does not fade because we find it difficult to hear.

This October 7 may we keep our hearts open and our promise to remember.

Not just today alone. Always. by @danalevenson

Three years.

Three years since October 7 changed Israel, the Jewish people, and so many families forever.

As Jewish mothers, we know what it means to carry a story. To hold memory. To keep showing up with love, even when our hearts are heavy. And we know that remembering is not passive. It is something we do together.

This Sunday, join Momentum for a special virtual conversation inspired by Till You Come Home, a film that shares the stories of Israeli mothers whose lives were forever changed on October 7.

Adrienne Gold Davis will be joined by Dana Levenson, creator of the film, and one of the mothers featured in it for an intimate conversation about motherhood, endurance, memory, and what it means to carry these stories forward.

Together, we will also view two short clips from the film, shared exclusively during the live event and not included in the recording afterward.

Three years later, we continue to remember. We continue to listen. And we continue to stand with the mothers whose stories are part of our collective story.

Join us Sunday, October 11 at 2:00 PM ET.

I had the privilege of being the MC for the Israeli premier of the Film IMA.

I opened the evening by introducing @danalevenson , the director of IMA. Then I sat down and watched the film.

That was when I truly began to hear and see the stories of these seven mothers.

Watching their experiences unfold on screen, hearing what they had lived through, and then moving into the Q&A afterwards brought emotions I simply hadn’t anticipated.

One of the mothers, whose daughter was murdered in Majdal Shams, came up to say a few words. She was surprised with a basketball jersey from her daughter’s favorite basketball player.

Watching her receive something so connected to her daughter, after everything we had just seen and heard, was incredibly powerful.

I had prepared my introduction. I had practiced. I had visualized the evening.

I hadn’t visualized crying in front of 150 people.

Some moments you simply cannot prepare for.

Thank you to @danalevenson , the mothers whose stories are told in IMA, and everyone who came to listen and remember. by @danalevenson

Thank you @matanelsamin. You don’t need to be a mother to understand a mother’s pain or the depth of her love.

Every time someone sees their own humanity in these mothers’ stories, their voices reach further. Their pain is held by more hearts and their love becomes something we can all carry. by @danalevenson

What a breathtaking wild beautiful year it’s been. Grateful for this life in every possible way. Deeply loved and deeply connected to everything I’ve ever dreamed of.

I never quite believed life could keep getting better but once I began to believe it could, it’s been magic ever since. ✹ by @danalevenson

Thank you @jessisajew. It’s hard to put into words how deeply your response and all of the responses to IMA have moved all of us, especially the mothers who trusted me with the most deeply personal parts of their lives. I share their gratitude.

Jess has reminded us that you don’t need to be a mother to understand the depth of a mother’s love. That means everything to the women in this film, and once again, it means everything to me. by @danalevenson

Thank you @justhallel. There is something profoundly powerful about connecting through humanity rather than conflict, and through the eyes of a mother. The mothers in this movie are grateful that you understood that, and so am I. by @danalevenson

Thank you @adielofisrael. To know that Ariel experienced the depth of a mother’s love while watching IMA means everything to the mothers in this movie, and once again that means everything to me. Perhaps that is where we find our way back to one another. Through a mother. by @danalevenson
