The Church here on earth is NOT a community of saints. The Church is a hospital for sinners.

I understand that some people respond well to tough love, but I also believe that not every situation calls for harsh rebukes or strict correction.

More often than not, the most effective way to lead others away from sin is by being a living example: showing and teaching through our actions and fervent prayers.

Many people walk away from the faith not because of God, but because their understanding of faith has been distorted by how they were treated by those who claimed to represent it.

When people are ignorant of Christianity, they often judge the entire faith based on the actions of the “Judas” figures rather than those who truly reflect the love of Jesus and follow Him with all their strength.

We must also strive to be patient with others, with ourselves, with our leaders, with our children, with our parents… because the truth is, we are all in this journey of transformation together. We are all flawed and in need of God’s grace to transform us. This is why we are called to forgiveness (just like as we pray in every “Our Father” prayer) because when we learn to forgive, we learn to love in the way God desires for us to.

““Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭37‬-‭38‬ ‭NRSV-CI‬‬

“Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbor, ‘Friend, let me take out the speck in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭41‬-‭42‬ ‭NRSV-CI‬‬

❤️‍🔥 Read more for the Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Benefits of Fasting:

👉 Brain (Mental) Benefits:
	1.	Increases Neuroplasticity:
	•	When you practice self-denial, your brain adapts by strengthening the prefrontal cortex (the area responsible for self-control, decision-making, and focus). This can improve willpower and discipline over time.
	2.	Boosts Dopamine Sensitivity:
	•	When you constantly indulge in pleasures (like sugar, social media, or entertainment), your brain becomes desensitized to dopamine, leading to cravings and lower motivation. Denying yourself resets dopamine levels, making you more sensitive to joy from simple things and reducing addictive behaviors.
	3.	Enhances Cognitive Function:
	•	Fasting and self-discipline have been shown to increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that supports memory, learning, and neurogenesis (the growth of new neurons). This can help protect against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.

👉 Physical Benefits:
	1.	Improves Metabolism & Longevity:
	•	Fasting activates autophagy, a process where the body cleans out damaged cells and regenerates healthier ones. This can slow aging and improve overall health.
	2.	Reduces Stress & Improves Emotional Regulation:
	•	Strengthening the brain’s self-control center reduces impulsivity and helps manage stress better. Over time, this can lower cortisol (the stress hormone), improving heart health and immune function.
	3.	Increases Energy & Mental Clarity:
	•	Fasting can increase mitochondrial efficiency, meaning your body produces energy more effectively. This results in higher energy levels, better focus, and mental sharpness.

👉 Spiritual & Psychological Effects:
	•	Christian traditions emphasize fasting and self-denial as a way to gain mental clarity, strengthen discipline, and deepen your connection with God. Modern science supports that fasting reduces anxiety and promotes inner peace.

🙏 By regularly practicing self-denial in small ways—whether through fasting, avoiding distractions, or resisting temptations—you train your brain and body to become stronger, more resilient, and healthier overall.

Sometimes the argument isn’t where the real wound began.

“It’s better to cry than be angry, because anger hurts others while tears flow silently through the soul and cleanses the heart.”
— St. John Paul II

Unhealed pain can quietly shape your reactions, relationships, and spiritual life. Christ can bring healing through prayer, forgiveness, and grace.

💬 What do you need to surrender to God today?

“Judge the Catholic Church not by those who barely live by its spirit, but by the example of those who live closest to it.”
— Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

The people who wounded you are not the standard of the faith they failed to live...

The Catholic Church has endured scandal, weakness, and human failure because its foundation is Jesus Christ, not flawless people. Look beyond hypocrisy and you’ll find centuries of Catholic saints whose lives were radically changed by grace.

Three mighty protectors stand at the heart of God’s plan and today we honor them. ⬇️

On September 29, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Archangels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael.

⚔️ St. Michael → the warrior of Heaven, who cast Satan out. Patron of soldiers, police officers, and those in spiritual battle. He reminds us that evil never has the final word when we stand with God.

📖 St. Gabriel → the messenger of God, who announced the Incarnation to Mary at the Annunciation. Patron of communication and those who spread the Gospel. He reminds us that God’s Word changes history. Gabriel means “God is my strength” and he once comforted Jesus in Gethsemane, consoled Mary in her sorrows and guided Joseph in his trials. He does the same for us.

🌿 St. Raphael → the healer, who guided Tobias and restored his father’s sight in the Book of Tobit. Patron of travelers, doctors, and the sick. He reminds us that God sends healing when we least expect it. He is also know to be a heavenly matchmaker.

These three archangels reveal God’s power to protect, to speak, and to heal… right in the midst of our daily lives.

Today, ask for their intercession. Ask St. Michael to defend you, St. Gabriel to guide your words and obtain strength for you, and St. Raphael to bring healing and peace (and a holy spouse)

St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael, pray for us!

IT’S OFFICIAL: FULTON SHEEN IS NOW BLESSED. 🙏 ⤵️

Today, September 24, 2026, the Catholic Church witnessed history.

During the Beatification Mass in St. Louis, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle formally proclaimed the Church’s declaration, and Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen became Blessed Fulton J. Sheen.

The man who once entered millions of homes through radio and television is now numbered among the Blesseds of the Church.

Sheen spent his life preaching one message again and again: Jesus Christ is worth giving your whole life to.

His cause moved forward after the Church recognized a miracle attributed to his intercession. In 2010, a baby was born with no heartbeat or breathing. For 61 minutes, the child showed no signs of life as family and friends prayed for Fulton Sheen’s intercession.

The child revived and recovered.

Years later, the Church officially recognized the healing as miraculous.

And today, more than 46 years after Sheen’s death, the Church publicly declared him Blessed.

The preacher who used the newest technology of his time to bring Jesus into millions of homes is still evangelizing generations he never lived to see.

Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, pray for us. 🙏

🔁 Share this so more Catholics can celebrate the moment Fulton Sheen officially became Blessed. 🙏

“Whenever a civilization begins to die morally or spiritually, then there begin to appear vultures. And that is the mission of Communism in the world. Communism is the scavenger of decaying civilizations. It makes its way into a country and into a culture only when that culture begins to rot from the inside.”
— Fulton J. Sheen

Sheen is saying that a society becomes vulnerable when it starts losing its moral and spiritual foundation. When people stop caring about truth, faith, family, and responsibility, harmful ideas can take root more easily. His point is that the deeper problem starts inside a culture before it shows up in politics. The real answer, in his view, begins with conversion and a return to God.

Padre Pio described a vision of Heaven opening before him, and what he said about eternity could change how you see suffering. ❤️‍🔥

📅 September 23: Feast day of St. Padre Pio

St. Padre Pio’s teachings on suffering, Heaven, and perseverance remind Catholics that even the darkest seasons can become places where God prepares the soul for holiness. Christian hope does not deny suffering. It gives suffering a destination.

When your heart feels exhausted, return to prayer, the sacraments, and the promise of eternal life with Christ.

Fulton Sheen warned America that the greatest revolution needed was not political, but moral... ⤵️

📅 His Beatification Mass will take place Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time, 12:00 p.m. Pacific, at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Fulton Sheen’s point is that America could not defeat communism only through politics, money, or military power.

He believed the deeper fight was inside each person, against greed, lust, anger, envy, and selfishness.

In his view, America would be strongest by returning to faith, moral truth, and a life centered on God.

He summed it up with the idea that if a nation is truly under God, it has far less to fear from outside ideologies.

Before you chase one more thing, watch this.

📅 September 23: Feast day of St. Padre Pio

“A Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament is worth more than a thousand years of human glory.”
- St. Padre Pio

Eucharistic Adoration has drawn Catholics into deeper prayer for centuries because the Blessed Sacrament is not just a symbol. The Catholic Church teaches that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Eucharist: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

St. Padre Pio’s devotion to the Eucharist is a powerful reminder that holiness often begins in silence, attention, and simply making room for God.

If your prayer life feels distracted or dry, guided Adoration can help you slow down and return your attention to Jesus.
