I added layers of shimmer to this Halloween card that features a fun Sparkle Overlay technique that uses up cardstock scraps for @brutusmonroe. The Firework Sparkle Overlay Sheet pulls double duty acting as an adhesive sheet for colorful cardstock strips, and as a brilliant top layer that adds sparkle and shine to the sentiment spot on this project. I created a similar card back in January and thought it would be fun to revisit this technique with a fun Halloween twist.

If you haven't tried Brutus Monroe Sparkle Overlays, what are you waiting for?! They are also available in 1-inch strips. If you're a fan of sparkly projects, Brutus Monroe has so many additional products that you're sure to love. Use my Coupon Code THEYCALLMETATARSALAD to save up to 10% at brutusmonroe.com.

Did you know that you can heat Fusible Fibers into thin sheets with a laminating machine? I did just that and used a Nestable Ovals die set to cut a brilliant opalescent layer for the sentiment spot on this card that I created for @brutusmonroe. I applied the shimmering sentiment to a clean and simple base of Warm Sweater Washi.

You'll definitely want to click over to Brutus Monroe to check out the all the varieties of Fusible Fibers and other seasonal products that are available while supplies last. Use my Coupon Code THEYCALLMETATARSALAD to save up to 10%

I created this vintage postcard style card using the SVG Class Stamp Set from @brutusmonroe If you're new to creating with SVGs and would like to learn more, the Virtual Paper Crafting and SVGs Class is a great value at $30 and includes a stamp set, a set of digital cut files, and instruction with Christopher Alan. Watch this class anytime from the comfort of your craft studio.

I really leaned into the postcard theme of the stamp set and pulled some additional items from my stash to create this postcard design. Stop by my blog post for the FREE tutorial. If you'd like to pick up the products that I used for this card or purchase the SVG Class, use my Coupon Code THEYCALLMETATARSALAD to save up to 10%.

Hi! I created a template for hand stitching the word FALL onto the focal point of this card for @brutusmonroe. I built the base of the card panel using a Washi Map and the Autumn Plaid Washi Sheet. The second layer of the card is the stitched cardstock that I embellished with a die-cut border, a stamped word, and clusters of crystals. I usually use this type of stitched panel for the binding of a mini album, but I think it works great on a card! #brutusmonroe #createyourownending #cardmakersofinstagram #fallcard #handstitching by @danatatar

I tried to capture the joy of laying under a tree and looking up at the sky on this fall card I created for @brutusmonroe. I selected a light blue base layer from the new Chroma Luxe Foilstock collection and topped that with Lime Green foiled Autumn Equinox Acetate, and DIY leaf stickers created with a fussy cut Gold Star foiled Fallen Leaves DuoFoil Washi Sheet covered with a Fields of Flowers Sparkle Overlay. I embellished the card with Red Shift Flat Back Crystals for a total of 5 fabulous layers of shimmer. #brutusmonroe #createyourownending #cardmakersofinstagram #fallcard #decofoil by @danatatar

Hi! I created this bold Halloween card featuring a group of geese trick-or-treating using the September Incentive Stamp from Brutus Monroe. I had so much fun adding stamped, colored, stenciled, die-cut, and hot foiled accents and embellishments to this card. #brutusmonroe #createyourownending #cardmakersofinstagram #halloweencards #decofoil by @danatatar

Hi! I paired the new Need a Hand? Mixed Media Stencil with the older Eye Love You Stamp Set to create this artist trading card for Halloween for @brutusmonroe. The stamped hand reaches out of the ground and sits on top of layers of ink and Glitter Glaze while a bat cut from Raven Glitterstock flies over top of the scene. I had a spooktacular time creating this artist trading card using the Wicked Whiskers Stamp and Werewolf Embossing Powder of the month from @brutusmonroe. I added a layer of flocking powder to Licorice Cardstock before I stamped and cut the cat for a finish that is velvety soft to the touch. I dressed up the Halloween Vintage cat patterned paper with strips of Spooky Party DuoFoil Washi and several colors of Glitterstock. #brutusmonroe #createyourownending #artisttradingcard #summerween #halloweencard by @danatatar

The August Inspiration Box from @brutusmonroe features an adorable woodland animal stamp set. I thought my hedgehog could use a friend. I used a mirror stamping plate to create a reverse stamped image, so that these cuties could look into each other's eyes. Sending hedgehugs your way! #brutusmonroe #createyourownending #cardmakersofinstagram #fallcards #hedgehogs by @danatatar

I look forward to the @brutusmonroe Halloween Release all year and it's finally here! I created two different cards, with different vibes, using one stamp set.

I gave some of the retro Halloween masks from the Sinister Smiles Stamp Set a silly twist by adding googly eyes for more of a scary-cute vibe. Layers of Glitterstock accent the smiling candy corn print on the Halloween Vintage patterned paper.

I created a second card that is less scary-cute and just plain scary! I used a stencil with Blood Type Grunge Glaze to add red drips down the front of the card panel. I added sparkle, texture, and dimension to this simple card design with Grape Juice Glitterstock and an embossed sentiment. #brutusmonroe #createyourownending #cardmakersofinstagram #halloweencrafts #halloweencard by @danatatar
