A Reset and a Rebuild

These past few months have been a reset for me both personally and professionally.

I’ve changed my name, and I’ve evolved my coaching.

The name.

I’ve returned to my birth name: Borsberry.

When I was very young my parents separated and with a new family building I took the name Edwards to feel part of the new family unit. It gave me belonging when everything was changing, and I’m grateful for that chapter and what it taught me.

Edwards will always be a meaningful part of my story. It’s everything I’ve been and learned up to this point. But , as I’ve grown into the man I am now married, grounded, clear in who I am, and building a legacy of my own … it felt right to reclaim my lineage.

For my future family, and for myself.

Edwards is where I’ve come from.
Borsberry is who I am now, and who I’m becoming.

This is more than a name change for me…
It’s ownership, alignment, and stepping into a deeper level of manhood.

Alongside this my work has evolved too.

I’m no longer just an online PT or transformation coach…

I’m now a Breakthrough & Results Coach, working with high achievers who look successful on the outside, but inside feel stuck, burnt out, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

They’re running in survival mode.
Pushing hard but unable to switch off.
Feeling flat and questioning why fulfilment still hasn’t arrived, even with external success and achievements others admire.

Through my Reset. Rebuild. Results. programme, I help people reset their system, rebuild from within, and create results that feel grounded and lasting.

This rebrand isn’t cosmetic.
It reflects who I am, how I live, and the work I’m here to lead.

Here’s to the next chapter.

We’re only just announcing this on socials…
And there are only 4 spaces remaining. šŸ‡°šŸ‡Ŗ

From 28 August to 6 September 2027, Reset Retreats is going to Kenya for our most unforgettable experience yet.

Kenya: Into the Wild. 🦁

We begin beside the Indian Ocean in Watamu, where life slows down and there is space to breathe, reflect and reconnect.

Sunrise practices. Spacious days by the ocean. Breathwork, meditation, movement, cacao, sound healing and meaningful inner work. šŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļø

Then we journey inland to Tsavo East.

Safari drives across the open plains. Elephants moving through the red dust. Evenings around the fire. Nights beneath the stars. Time connecting with the Maasai community and experiencing the rawness of the wild. ✨

This isn’t just a retreat.
And it isn’t just an adventure.

It’s both.

Nine nights created to give you space away from the noise, demands and constant doing of everyday life so you can return home with greater clarity, perspective and a deeper connection with yourself.

This will be an intimate experience, and with only four spaces now remaining, we’re opening applications.

If you feel the pull, complete our short application through the link in our bio.

If you’d like to ask us anything first, DM us ā€œKENYAā€ and we’ll chat.

This is not just a holiday. It’s a Reset. šŸŒ
See you there

Some experiences can’t be explained.
They have to be felt.

This is a glimpse into one of the last sessions we facilitated together.

Every breakthrough looks different because every person arrives with a different story, different experiences and different intentions.

Some come seeking clarity.
Some are carrying stress they’ve held onto for years.
Some simply know it’s time to reconnect with themselves.

Whatever brings you through the door, our intention is the same: to create a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, step beyond the noise and allow your breath to guide you towards whatever is ready to unfold.

We’re really looking forward to holding this space together again on Sunday 26th July.

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll guide you through:

🧘 Meditation
šŸ¤ Conscious Connection
šŸ’Ø Transformational Breathwork

Every experience is unique, but many people leave feeling calmer, clearer, more connected and with a renewed sense of perspective.

If you’ve been living in survival mode, feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or know it’s time to create space for yourself, we’d love to welcome you.

Five years ago, Joe and I met as friends.

Not long after, we started talking about creating something that didn’t really exist. A space where people could step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect and face themselves and leave feeling different to when they arrived.

Before Reset Retreats ever existed, we could already see it.

Whenever we meet, we still spend time visualising. We picture how each retreat will unfold. We imagine the atmosphere, the conversations, the breakthroughs, the connections and the people who will be there. Not because visualisation replaces action, but because it gives our actions direction.

Then we go to work.

Four years later, we’ve hosted over 20 retreats, welcomed hundreds of people, and watched countless moments of growth, courage and transformation.

It all started with a shared vision.

If there’s something you’ve been dreaming about or a change you’ve been wanting to make…don’t leave it as a thought.

See it clearly. Believe it’s possible. Then take the next step.

Because every reality is created twice:
First in the mind.
Then through action.

The biggest breakthroughs often begin with uncertainty.

A few years ago, I arrived at a healing retreat with Joe feeling anxious, uncomfortable and completely out of my depth.

I remember thinking, ā€œWhat am I doing here?ā€ Part of me wanted to get back in the car and go home.

Instead, I took a breath.

Joe reminded me that I didn’t have to force anything. I could take part as much or as little as I wanted. That simple reassurance was enough for me to stay.

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful I did.

It became one of the most transformative experiences of my life.

Since then, I’ve realised something…

Our minds are incredibly good at making the unknown feel bigger and scarier than it often is. We imagine worst-case scenarios, convince ourselves we don’t belong, or tell ourselves we’re not ready.

More often than not, the reality is far kinder than the story we’ve created in our heads.

Life will always bring uncertainty. New jobs. Relationships. Businesses. Parenthood. Health challenges. Speaking up. Trying something different.

The goal isn’t to eliminate uncertainty. It’s to build the confidence and resilience to meet it.

That’s exactly what we aim to create on our retreats.

A safe, supportive environment where you can gently step beyond what’s familiar, reconnect with yourself, learn practical tools for everyday life, and discover that you’re capable of far more than your mind sometimes tells you.

Our next retreat is in Dunkeld, Scotland, from 31st August – 4th September.

If something in this post resonates with you… if you’ve been feeling the pull to do something different, to create space, or to stop letting fear make your decisions…

Maybe it’s worth listening to.

Applications are open via the link in the bio.

Sometimes the thing you’re chasing isn’t on the other side of working harder.

It’s on the other side of slowing down.

Not quitting. Just stopping long enough to actually hear yourself.

We’re back holding space together on Sunday 26th July. It’s been a while since we ran a session side by side and we’ve missed it. Two different backgrounds, two ways of working, one afternoon.

Here’s what we’ll move through:

🧘 Meditation
šŸ¤ Conscious Connection
šŸ’Ø Transformational Breathwork

The breathwork is Conscious Connected Breathwork. You lie down, you breathe, and you let whatever’s been sitting under the surface come up. Everyone’s session looks different. Most people walk out lighter than they came in. Calmer. A bit more room in their head.

Maybe you’ve been stuck in survival mode. Maybe you’re just tired of carrying it all. Either way, there’s a space here for you.

What if the breakthrough you’ve been searching for starts with simply slowing down?

Not because you’re giving up.

Because you’re finally giving yourself the space to listen.

Sometimes the breakthrough we’re searching for doesn’t come from thinking harder. It comes from creating the space to finally listen and reconnect with ourselves.

We’re really looking forward to holding this space together again on Sunday 26th July. It’s been a little while since we’ve facilitated a session together and we’re excited to bring our different experiences and approaches together for what promises to be a powerful afternoon of connection, reflection, and transformative breathwork.

Together, we’ll guide you through:

🧘 Meditation
šŸ¤ Conscious Connection
šŸ’Ø Transformational Breathwork

Using Conscious Connected Breathwork, you’ll be invited to explore deeper states of awareness, reconnect with yourself, and create space for whatever is ready to move. Every experience is unique, but many people leave feeling calmer, clearer, lighter, and with a renewed sense of perspective.

Whether you’ve been living in survival mode, feeling overwhelmed or simply know it’s time to reconnect with yourself…we’d love to welcome you.

Rest isn’t always recovery.

You can spend hours on the sofa, watch Netflix, or scroll your phone, and still feel completely exhausted afterwards.

Why?

Because recovery isn’t just about what your body is doing. It’s also about what your mind believes.

Many of us have developed beliefs that slowing down is lazy, unproductive, or something we have to earn. So when we finally do stop, guilt creeps in. The mind keeps racing. We reach for distractions. And the body never fully receives the message that it’s safe to switch off.

Your nervous system stays geared towards doing rather than recovering.

The encouraging part is that these aren’t fixed personality traits. They’re learnt patterns.

Through practices like mindfulness, breathwork and intentionally creating moments of rest without judgement, we can gradually retrain the nervous system and reshape our relationship with slowing down.

Over time, rest can stop feeling uncomfortable and start becoming genuinely restorative.

Sometimes, the biggest barrier to recovery isn’t finding more time to rest.

It’s believing that you’re allowed to.

If you find yourself mouth breathing because your nose feels blocked, give this a try šŸ‘ƒ

1. Breathe in through your nose.
2. Breathe out through your nose.
3. Hold your breath and pinch your nose closed.
4. Gently nod your head up and down until you feel a moderate air hunger building.
5. Release and return to slow, relaxed nasal breathing.

Rest for 30–60 seconds and repeat 2–3 times.

Many people notice their nasal passages begin to open afterwards.

This works by increasing carbon dioxide and nitric oxide levels, which can help dilate blood vessels and improve airflow through the nose.

Many people think the goal is to feel calm all the time.

It’s not.

A healthy nervous system isn’t flat. It’s flexible.

Throughout the day, our level of activation naturally rises and falls in response to what’s happening around us.

That’s normal.

The challenge comes when life’s demands consistently exceed our capacity to cope.

This is where the Window of Tolerance becomes useful.

When we’re within our window, we’re generally able to think clearly, stay present, regulate our emotions and respond effectively to challenges.

What’s important to remember is that this window isn’t fixed.

Some people naturally have a larger window of tolerance than others, and our capacity can change from day to day depending on sleep, stress, recovery, workload and life circumstances.

The good news is that we can expand that window over time.

Quality sleep.
Regular exercise.
Good nutrition.
Healthy relationships and support.
Strong boundaries.
Practices that help us regulate and recover.

All of these can help increase our capacity and resilience.

Sometimes the answer is reducing stress.

Sometimes it’s increasing capacity.

Often it’s both.

The goal isn’t to be calm all the time.

The goal is to handle life with presence, not overwhelm.

It’s the small things that make the biggest difference.

Where is your tongue resting right now?

When you’re not speaking or eating, your tongue should naturally rest against the roof of your mouth, with your lips gently closed and breathing happening through your nose.

Something else many people don’t realise is that your nostrils don’t point upwards.

They point backwards into the face.

So instead of thinking about breathing ā€œupā€ into your nose, try thinking about the breath moving back into the face and then down into the body.

For many people, this simple shift can help reduce shallow chest breathing and encourage a more relaxed, expansive breath.

Small adjustments.

Better breathing.

Have a look at your tongue position and breathing throughout the day and see what you notice.

Most of us don’t think about our breathing until something feels wrong.

When we’re stressed, anxious or overwhelmed, our breathing often becomes faster and shallower.

When we’re calm, safe and relaxed, it naturally slows down.

That’s because your breath is closely connected to your nervous system.

The good news?

It works both ways.

By consciously slowing your breathing, you can help signal safety to your body and gently bring yourself back to the present moment.

A simple tool that’s always with you.
