Full wall at the end!
Mural I designed and painted in Greenpoint, Brooklyn alongside some italian graffiti writers.
I also painted a giant sisyphus figure at the other end of the wall for the business owners.

Revisiting a few pieces from last year’s darker arts show including “Mystic Waters” from artist Dan Bunn. This beautifully moody piece is still available if you want to adopt! Dan will be joining us again this year with another killer piece that we can’t wait to show you. (Oil on linen, 20x20” framed)

Have a lovely weekend and please reach out to hello@nannygoatgallery.com with any questions. 🐐 taken in Nanny Goat Gallery by @danbunnart

Here’s a look at my mural project from August. I’ll share more soon! Huge thank you to @emptycansnyc for giving me the opportunity and for curating sick productions all over New York. 🫡 🍻 🧀 !
Also thank you to the business owners for the opportunity, flexibility, and understanding as I worked on this between rainstorms and hot summer days.

I have been dreaming of doing something like this for a while! years lol! I’m still troubleshooting the process and materials for murals. Gotta keep experimenting:) I worked mostly with brushes and exterior house paint, drawing my design freehand and making edits with chalk. Definitely going to continue with stuff like this, more on that soon. Peeeace thanks for looking!

I made this portrait study a while back, in a few minutes, using water, graphite, and flashe vinyl paint.

Thanks @betty_visual_arts 🙏

Here is a new view of the oil painting I created while observing a cicada exoskeleton.

Cicadas symbolize growth and rebirth, exuberant life, fragility, guidance, and the infinite balance between complexity and simplicity in nature.

I always enjoy finding these strange beings outside, and wanted to study and paint one from life. Even though it is a small painting, it’s actually many times larger than life size. I worked completely freehand, without any guides, drawing, or technology, using my interpretation of arcane painting processes. I hope to continue exploring this sort of imagery! So many ideas racing through my mind 🫧
