I had never heard this song before, yet dancing to it felt so natural… almost like my soul already knew every word🤍

One of those rare dances that leaves you holding back tears by the end.

Thank you, @danceall50 , for letting me experience this moment and for supporting me every step of the way—both emotionally and physically. And thank you to the DJ for choosing such a beautiful song.

Also, huge congratulations to everyone in the final. It was a joy to watch your beautiful dancing. 🫶✨

A weekend and a dance worth remembering.

Some moments in dance just seem to come full circle. I got my first newcomer points at Midwest Westie Fest 2023, and 3 years later it’s the event that qualified me for Champs. I’m incredibly grateful for the journey that’s led here and for everyone who’s been a part of it along the way.

Getting to draw each other in the final made the moment even more special. It wasn’t something we expected, but it’s one I’m really glad we got to share.

Thank you to the staff, volunteers, competitors, and friends who make weekends like this so memorable. Looking forward to continuing to learn, grow, and enjoy every step of the journey.

“Even the Best Fall Down Sometimes” *Yeets Stella* 😭This Trio at Swingtac was so fun and so much laughter! We definitely put on a good show and got to embrace all the dynamics of what makes this trio great!

Dancing to feel something.

There’s something really special about sharing a dance with someone who’s in the same headspace. No pressure to make it perfect. No doing the “right” moves. Just two people fully present with each other, the music, and the moment. This dance may not be technically perfect, but that’s not what I remember. I remember how it felt.

I’ve said this before, but my favorite dances aren’t the ones “performed” for an audience. They’re the ones where my partner and I are so connected that everything else disappears, that’s when magic happens and that’s when you feel something. 🤍
