My daughters love going to LA, me not so much. The traffic, the people, and everything covered in concrete makes me crazy. But while looking for things to do, I found this botanical garden on the UCLA campus. It was small but jammed with incredible plants, flowers and trees. There were benches and some tables where you could sit and listen to the water. I saw students enjoying nature, reading, working and chatting with friends. El capitán in Yosemite National park is a 3,000ft granite monolith. Alex Honnold climbed this beast without any safety equipment! 😮 it took him just under 4 hours. That’s crazy impressive. Still high on the energy from the Big Bear Yoga Festival!
This weekend had absolutely everything from community, yoga, art, writing, and so much dancing. Kicking things off with the mother drum and sound bath was unforgettable, and the After Glow party was such a blast that the camera never even came out.

We didn’t make it to the top of half dome but we did climb to the top of sentinel dome! We enjoyed beautiful views of half dome and the valley below. I definitely recommend this 1.1 mile hike. #nature #woods #johnmuir #yosemite # taken in Sentinel Dome by @dancingdebb
