Holy!! The cross-section of two-wheeled devices at the Mountain Air Skills Park in Burnaby was something else this afternoon. Pretty much everyone got out on whatever they could find. Even me!! Last slide shows how terrible I am (green helmet) as I chase down my pal’s 8yo who’s on a scooter. Ha!! by @dandeedubya

Nobody could go for a big pedal ride today so I zapped up a few laps while @brycebarry_ and the child hiked. She caught me coming down and made me look fast. by @dandeedubya

Trails are just so good here! Helps that it rained a little bit in the last few days and now it’s gorgeous and sunny. taken in Sunshine Coast, Beautiful BC by @dandeedubya

EDIT managed to MacGyver a solution. Ordered one for myself too, so if you should ever need one, gimme a call.

Anyone have one of these fancy SRAM lever bearing presses I could borrow? Delivery times to order don’t line up well with impending bicycle event Thursday!! by @dandeedubya

New Container hat coming!! Preorder today, save yourself $5.

This hat is a nod to where I started. Before Container, I spent years working for Goodyear, starting when I was about 17. Long days at racetracks all over Canada and the U.S., arriving before the sun came up and leaving after everyone else. It was hard, physical work — the kind that sticks with you.

This design pulls from those classic Goodyear rope hats I wore back then, reworked to reflect where I ended up. Same no-nonsense feel, same emphasis on showing up and putting in the time — just finished with hops instead of oak leaves.

It’s not a costume or a trend piece. It’s a reminder that most good things are built slowly, with a lot of effort, and a lot of early mornings.

Head to https://drinkcontainer.beer/shop (link in bio) click HATS and it’s the bottom leftmost, called “Hopyear”

Use the coupon ‘hopyear5off’ at checkout to save that $5. The coupon expires 3/24. by @dandeedubya

Only in Sechelt do you walk past a couple of 40 something dudes, sitting on a bench by the beach, smoking and drinking, talking about the fishing lures they got for Christmas while drum and bass is blasting from one of their phones. by @dandeedubya
