Class with @samueljeanmoore

My first time taking class in LA and it was so fun! I always see dancers at ML and it was so nice to be able to finally go. Wore my fundies shirt because it reminded me of the time Sam came to Austin to set build for fundies and also teach a masterclass. One of my fav memories :)

So happy my friends had the idea to go and dancing with them made it less intimidating.

Sam and I got to talk about Kubo blind boxes and it was very wholesome hehe. taken in Movement Lifestyle by @dangdangdances

Still struggling with retention which sometimes hinders the next part which is execution. Tried to execute the parts I felt confident in.

He was teaching this in a “generous” way since we had more time so I should be able to retain. Gotta work on it hehe but still enjoying myself. by @dangdangdances

Fundies training with @sharonbeyzer

Today we did a mock set! Learned and blocked entire piece during practice. Was really great to see how we looked as a team and what the future sets can look like! Thank you Sharon for this training!

Key takeaways:
Facials are the first thing audience looks at
Do not readjust/stutter if you’re at wrong spot, use next move to do so.

For this training we had a special guest Haley! She came in with the idea creating a of a concept video. We learned and filmed in two hours which was so cool to watch everything come together. It was nice to get such a unique training :) thank you again!

Started off with across the floor freestyle warm ups. Then learned this combo! Tbh I never knew when to come in unless they counted us in which I need to work on lol.

Fun fact, this song is on my wedding playlist hehe so I’m gonna have to call everyone from class to perform it when the time comes!
