I really love and miss music.

I used to sing a LOT.

I’ve sung in front of The Rubens, played pubs, done all-nighters at the casino, and even got selected to audition for The Voice. (Got scouted while drunk trying to impress someone else).

Then somewhere along the way, music just kinda disappeared from my life.

Lately I’ve been tinkering with it again, and considering I somehow still own enough audio equipment to record a song… I thought, why the hell not?

So I recorded one. A theme song for my wedding photography business.

No big comeback. No career change. Just doing something again that I've missed.

Hi, new friends 👋

If you just followed me, here's the deal: I photograph weddings, I have genuine feelings about light, and I recently developed (pun intended) an obsession with film photography and Super 8.

So you're going to see a mix of crisp digital shots and grainy, slightly chaotic film footage.... on purpose, I promise.

Stick around for real weddings, real moments, and the occasional post where I get way too excited about a roll of film that just came back from the lab. Glad you're here.

Some couples just know how to have a bloody good time together, and these two are the perfect example!

From the laughs to the little moments in between, their energy together is absolutely infectious.

And honestly, what's better than sneaking off for a cheeky ice cream stop down at Semaphore? Because romance is great, but romance with ice cream? Even better. 😂🍦

These are the moments I absolutely love capturing. Nothing forced, nothing fancy. Just two people having the best time together.

☕ COFFEE, CAMERAS & A LITTLE BIT OF CHAOS.

Well, it's official. After all these years, I can FINALLY call myself a professional photographer.

Why? Because I now own a coffee mug that looks like a camera lens. 📸

Apparently, that's the final qualification I've been missing.

Today's looking a little different! First up, celebrating a mate's 40th birthday, then heading off to Faithwood Chapel for a cheeky 2 hours of wedding magic! 💍

I've also got a few hours hours to waste between, so naturally, the laptop's coming with me.

Taking a great photo is only half the job.

Using someone’s first name, checking in with them, and showing them their portraits as you go can make a huge difference, especially if they’re feeling self-conscious.

Sometimes seeing “Wait… we actually look GOOD!” is all it takes to relax and trust the process.

Make them feel comfortable. Make them feel looked after. 🧡
