A clip of a recent set for an @ambient.miami takeover of @fruitflyrecords! The show was a blast and a truly inspiring reminder of how talented the electronic and experimental music scene in Miami is! I will post more videos of the show on the Ambient Night page soon! In the meantime, here’s a sample of my patch! Thanks to @grayxghoste for the 🎥 taken in Fruit Fly Records by @dania.sixto

Thanks so much to @locustprojects and everyone who attended for giving me the opportunity to teach my first Eurorack 101 workshop! I would like to host an advanced patching workshop for Eurorack users on the Krell patch in the near future! Let me know if you’d be interested! 📸 @loganfazio by @dania.sixto

Curious about modular synthesis but not sure where to start? In this hands-on workshop, modular synthesist and Ambient Night MIA founder Dania Sixto will guide participants through the fundamentals of patching, signal flow, and sound design using VCV Rack 2, a free virtual modular environment. Learn how to create evolving textures, rhythmic sequences, and sculpt sound from the ground up—all without needing expensive hardware. Dania will also offer practical insights into building a physical modular system, demystifying the process of selecting and combining modules to fit your creative vision. Whether you’re drawn to ambient drones, pulsating melodies, or experimental noise, this workshop will give you the tools to start exploring modular synthesis with confidence. Bring a laptop with VCV Rack 2 installed and headphones to follow along.

Refreshments provided. Free and open to the public. Presented as part of the Knight Digital Innovation Lab at Locust Projects. March 27th at 7PM. by @dania.sixto
