I have endless words for this production. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had such a brilliant team to bring this vision to life, and for that I will forever be grateful.
One of the lines of the text I kept coming back to was, “I want to go home! I want my father!” These words felt familiar. It made me realize home in this play wasn’t a place, but a feeling of comfort and care we only get from our loved ones. Working on this play allowed me to define what home was for me, and how the past and my childhood shaped that idea. These thoughts not only helped design the show, but allowed me to reconnect with my own past, thinking about every step I took that got me to this moment. Getting to go on this journey, not just by myself, but with an amazing, supportive team made this process so special.

Thank you to everyone involved. I’m so incredibly proud and grateful.
