This date will forever be a milestone. Back in 2022, I launched the first version of @deetz.events. I was ready to take on the world, but I was hit with a wave of setbacks that felt relentless—an ended engagement, a company running on empty, the tail end of a pandemic, and a deep, personal battle with mental health.

Having to bite the bullet, I made the hard call to put my company aside and return to the working world to rebuild my foundation—and myself.

In that crossroads of confusion, I met an angel, @di_ylw69. All she said to me was: “Don’t give up. Just be wiser, and don’t repeat the same mistakes.” Beyond being my partner in life, she has become the backbone of the company and the steady force behind everything I do. Thank you for being my rock and my greatest support—I love you.

Fast forward to today: We are back. ⚡️

We’ve officially launched Deetz 2.0, a completely rebuilt event management platform. We kicked off the night with a product sharing session for our clients, partners, and family, followed by a high-energy @trance4m_ takeover.

That night was also one of the most therapeutic sets of my life. 100% on the fly—a representation of my journey through #music, #entrepreneurship, spiritual health, and mental well-being. I opened with @willreesdj’s “Burnin’ Up”, the track that kept my fire alive during the darkest days of 2022, a constant reminder to push through when the going gets tough.

All tracks selected had a story. I was supposed to play for 1.5 hours, but thanks to everyone who stayed and kept the energy alive, we extended for another hour. Sorry, not sorry! 😂

Thank you to my past team, co-founders, current core team, and family for believing in the vision when it was just a spark. Most importantly, I give all the glory to God. Without His grace and guidance, I wouldn’t be standing here today, let alone leading this team. 🙏✨

Well, I didn’t know running trance music events and creating an ambitious B2C event-tech solution @deetz.events completely bootstrapped at @lastonestanding.sg could get me recognized… Some things just come to you unexpectedly ☺️

Thanks for the opportunity and award 🥹 Through it all, I’m not the only one. Grateful to God for everything regardless, cos You’re all I’m living for ❤️

I have another startup that I’m very much active in recent days where I help organizations solve their problems with the help of cloud at @kenzap.cloud . Nothing complicated like metaverse or AI, as long as it solves the problems, keep it simple as always, check it out! 🙂
