Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate our videographer and drone operator, Daniel Sutherland.

Dani has an amazing gift for telling stories through his lens. His work goes far beyond capturing beautiful images—he captures emotion, humanity and the moments that help people truly connect with Jamaica.

His powerful drone videography in After Melissa helped bring global attention to Hurricane Melissa, its devastating aftermath and, most importantly, the courage, resilience and strength of the Jamaican people.

To see this important documentary recognized with Best Documentary awards at two international film festivals is a tremendous achievement. It places Jamaica’s stories, talent and creative excellence on an entirely different global stage.

Dani, we are so proud of you and grateful for the passion, care and dedication you bring to your work with Jamaica Cruising.

Congratulations to the entire team behind After Melissa. Thank you for using your talents to ensure this story was seen, felt and remembered around the world.

Jamaica continues to shine—and so do the extraordinary people who share its stories. taken in Toronto, Canada by @danigon876
