Yeah my friends, it’s THAT time of year when you look back and see what was, IF what was, and so on… or actually that time of the year when – as a freelancer – you update your reels, videos, applications and so on 😝
Out of (bad?) jokes, I’d like to post this treasure that’s really close to my heart. It’s about “Tumulus”, this out-of-the-box piece we’ve been performing for more than 2 years… (and counting)
These excerpts are from my favorite moment ever… an adaptation of “Dies irae” by A. Lotti (1667-1740).

Incredible and always meticulous guidance of @theycallmefrannie and Geoffroy Jourdain (@lescrisdeparis )

Best and beloved colleagues #foreverandever : @marie_picaut , @maryfete , @florencegengoul , @myriamjarmache , @aurewachter , @evann_loget_raymond , @ryanveillet , @arouxbriffaud , @vivien._.simon , @marbares_ , @alan.picol , @simonbailly_performer

Hey, besides some of us keep working 🤪 , happy Christmas holidays for you all!
Much love💫

Upaniṣad: upa (near), ni (down or totally), and sad (to sit). In other words: “sitting down near a teacher.”

Happy birthday to me
36 years ago I came to this body and this human life
Thankful
With a lot of work to do 😅 but grateful
Amiwis, people around, family, mis amores: GRACIAS , lo son todo 💞

It was an epic one:
I started singing a full-solo Bach cantata at 10am (dankiii Deutschland #☠️ 😅)
Family, friends, games, Peruvian food, music, laughs… and yesterday the wonderful @le.balcon choir (where amiwis Alan•Marie•Ryan are singing) after their performance at @deutscheoperberlin, sing to me once again the happiest birthday 🐥🥰

Grateful.

Yoga is at the heart of OPEN — and it expands into everything we teach. Pilates, Sculpt, Sound all carry that same mindful practice and mind-body connection.

This is our Neukölln space — BDA Architecture Prize–winning design, concrete beams, natural light, and a room built for presence. One of 8 OPEN studios across Berlin, all rooted in yoga first.

📍 Mainzer Str. 39, 12053 Berlin — link in bio to book, or directly via Urbansports, Classpass and Wellpass. by @daniiwendler

Yes, my friends 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️
…as some of you may have already seen, I’ve opened my own studio in Berlin… and this post is all about my #singinglessons 🥳

I’ve been teaching singing for more than 10 years now — although, if we count the first “lessons” I gave as a teenager in my parents’ garage, I suppose it started a little earlier 😅
Over these years, teaching has taken me in directions I never really expected: from singing lessons to vocal coaching for performances, working with actors, dancers, yoga teachers, professional singers, and people who simply wanted to explore their voices.

I’ve seen people come simply for the pleasure of exploring their voice, and become more and more excited as they hear themselves grow.
I’ve seen people who struggled with singing, but whose passion and dedication took them much further than they expected.
I’ve seen incredibly talented people who barely knew the song they wanted to sing 🫠
And I’ve seen bodies with all kinds of postural patterns slowly find a healthier, freer relationship with themselves — ergo: with their singing 🤗
I keep witnessing these little phenomena, again and again — in different languages, countries, repertoires, and with completely different aims.
But with something in common:
to sing.
to sound.
to make music.
to say something from within.
And somehow, that’s what I love most about this work 💙

So it feels particularly nice to finally have a space of my own for it 🧚‍♀️ A space for singing, experimenting, working, playing, figuring things out — and hopefully making some beautiful noise along the way. ❤️

If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to sing, but…” — maybe this is your sign 🤟

You find all the information on my Bio or you can just hit me up to know more about it.
Have a nice week, amiwis!
Dani

ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

Vasudeva, the divine presence,
the light, within all beings.
Seeing through…
the extraordinary in the ordinary.
•Celebrate•
Celebrate every little common-life moment.
Celebrate people, animals, universe, creation…
Honor them.
Be present.
See the light, even when dark.
Fail in the chords of the mantra… and celebrate it. Upsi 😝

One of my favourite mantras💙

As Krishna Das said on Sunday here in Berlin — between a bunch of full-of-wisdom things — “It’s about practicing «come back home»… and again, again and again…”

Recorded at my beloved @openstudios__ Loft.

BTW, here are my classes at Open. Come, visit me. Let’s practice… and again and again and again.

TUESDAYS – Open Xberg
5PM – STRONG VINYASA FLOW

FRIDAYS – Open Loft
7PM – Dynamic Vinyasa
8:30PM – Friday’s Unwind (Yin Yoga)

SUNDAYS – Open Loft
11:30AM – Sunday Vinyasa

Much love,
Dani

P.S.: Yes, I’m aware… the image is blurry. It’s my ego disappearing in the immensity of the mantra 😜
