Yes, my friends 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️
…as some of you may have already seen, I’ve opened my own studio in Berlin… and this post is all about my #singinglessons 🥳

I’ve been teaching singing for more than 10 years now — although, if we count the first “lessons” I gave as a teenager in my parents’ garage, I suppose it started a little earlier 😅
Over these years, teaching has taken me in directions I never really expected: from singing lessons to vocal coaching for performances, working with actors, dancers, yoga teachers, professional singers, and people who simply wanted to explore their voices.

I’ve seen people come simply for the pleasure of exploring their voice, and become more and more excited as they hear themselves grow.
I’ve seen people who struggled with singing, but whose passion and dedication took them much further than they expected.
I’ve seen incredibly talented people who barely knew the song they wanted to sing 🫠
And I’ve seen bodies with all kinds of postural patterns slowly find a healthier, freer relationship with themselves — ergo: with their singing 🤗
I keep witnessing these little phenomena, again and again — in different languages, countries, repertoires, and with completely different aims.
But with something in common:
to sing.
to sound.
to make music.
to say something from within.
And somehow, that’s what I love most about this work 💙

So it feels particularly nice to finally have a space of my own for it 🧚‍♀️ A space for singing, experimenting, working, playing, figuring things out — and hopefully making some beautiful noise along the way. ❤️
