What if your yoga practice could be built around & for you?

Group classes can be wonderful. But sometimes you need something different: a practice that responds to your body, your schedule, your energy and the particular moment of life you’re in.

My 1:1 sessions are for you if you:

— need a practice that fits your schedule, body and current needs
— feel stressed, overstimulated or constantly “on”, and want to learn how to slow down
— want to move with more ease, understand your body better and feel more comfortable in it
— are going through a specific physical or personal situation that needs individual attention
— want to deepen your practice or learn how to practice safely and confidently on your own

There is no fixed sequence to follow.

We start with where you are, what you need and what you want to cultivate, and build the practice from there.

Depending on what you’re looking for, our work might focus on breath, movement, tension release, deep rest, or developing your own personal practice.

The goal isn’t simply to give you another class to follow.

It’s to help you develop more awareness, autonomy and trust in your own body & mind, so that over time you can better understand what you need — both on and off the mat.

And you don’t need to know exactly what you need before we begin… We figure that out together.

Online or in person.

Want to know more about 1:1 sessions?
Send me “TELL ME MORE” and I’ll share the details.

With love and presence 🤍

I’ve been teaching people of different ages to work with their breath for the past six years.

My yoga teacher training introduced me to pranayama, and a year and a half ago, I completed my 60-hour Oxygen Advantage®️ Breathing for Yoga Instructor training, which combines the ancient practice of pranayama with modern functional breathing science.

The breath just fascinates me 🤍🫁

One thing I’ve learned along the way is that more intense doesn’t mean better, or more advanced. That’s why the practices in this series are gentle and accesible for almost everyone.

I know how much pressure we’re all under, so I try to keep my approach light, simple and accessible. No unreachable goals, no need to get it right.

Just gradually making a little more room for the things that make us feel good.

This is the spirit behind EXHALE, my new four-class online breathing series. We’ll explore the science and practice of breathing, learn simple techniques and discover tools we can return to in everyday life.

Four Monday evenings · Online via Zoom
November 16, 23, 30 & December 7
6:30–8 PM Berlin time

Join the full series (€90), choose 3 classes (€70), or book a single session (€25).

Registration is open! Find all the details and book your place through the link in my bio. 🤍

I’d love to breathe together.

Why should someone practice Breathwork?

Well, life gets challenging some times. But pranayamas are not just to relax. Not just to take a deep breath when everything feels overwhelming.

Your breath is something you can learn to work with in different moments of your life.

When you need to find calm in the middle of frustration.
When your mind feels scattered and you need to focus.
When it’s time to slow down and sleep.
When you want to better understand your body and support yourself through its changes.

Different moments call for different breathing practices. And learning which one to use, and when, can make all the difference.

This is what I want to explore with you through Exhale — a breathing journey to help you understand your breath and build a practical toolkit you can use in everyday life.
I’m preparing something special, and I’ll be sharing more about it soon.
Want to be among the first to hear about it and receive a special discount? 🤍

Join my WhatsApp community, where I’ll be sharing breathing practices, insights and resources along the way.

Comment EXHALE and I’ll send you the link.

The smell of the new air brought the message of a new season.
The subtle but steady change in light.
Copper and gold beginning to appear in the trees.
Colder mornings and warmer afternoons.
The growing inclination towards your favourite warm cup of tea.
Summer begins to wind down. We harvest the fruits of what has grown, and the energy gradually draws inward: the peak of Yang receding as Yin begins to build.
🍁
Autumn asks us to discern.
What will we carry forward?
What is ready to be released?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is associated with the Metal element, the Lungs and Large Intestine, and the emotion of grief.
🍁But grief is not always about something being wrong.🍁
We can grieve an old apartment that held so much joy, even as we move into one that better suits our lives now. We can grieve the ending of a book while still being grateful that we got to read it. We can grieve a version of ourselves that we have simply outgrown.
There is tenderness in recognising that something has served its purpose — and allowing it to go.
And perhaps this is one of the invitations of Metal: to become clearer about what we value, what is essential, and what we no longer need to carry.

Do you often experience headaches, neck or upper back tension?

What many people don’t know is that the way we breathe can also contribute to these tensions. 🤯

When we breathe in a way that’s fast, predominantly through the mouth, or mainly into the upper chest, our neck and upper back muscles may end up working harder than necessary.

This is a seasonal **Metal Yin practice**, the exact sequence I taught this week in my Elemental Yin class. 🍂

It focuses on the Lung 🫁 and Large Intestine meridians.

✨ Stay for at least 2 minutes in each shape, doing both sides, breathing slowly and gently towards the rib cage. Take a pause or rebound between poses to notice the sensations in your body.

If at any point the practice feels overwhelming, come out of the pose, rest and return to your natural breathing. You can resume whenever you feel ready.

Over time, this practice can help you become more familiar with the movement of your rib cage and explore a fuller, more comfortable breath.

Want to explore this in a guided practice? **I’ll be teaching it in today’s Back & Neck Yoga class.** @yogicescape Fhain. Come join me! 🤍

Your breath has a bigger influence on how you feel than you might realise, and I’ll be sharing more about it next month.

Curious to learn more? **Comment BREATH** and I’ll let you know how to hear about it first. 🌬️

Food for thought 🙏🏻🤍🕊️ by @om_ilumina

One of the simplest ways to begin exploring the breath is to first learn how to feel it.
The Full Yogic Breath is a foundational practice that brings awareness to the three-dimensional movement of breathing — belly, ribs, and upper chest.
Not to breathe more.
To breathe with more awareness.
And sometimes, before we change the way we breathe, we need to become curious about the way we already do.

We have been moving out of the peak of summer for some time now and into the late summer, the moment of the Earth element in TCM. Earth is a return to the center, to resource ourselves.

The Elemental Yin classes will be centered around the Stomach and Yin meridians to connect deeply to the element of the season.

A possibility to nurture ourselves from within, to discover where your ground is to find stability.

An opportunity to really be able to feel your body and listen to its messages.

A chance of cultivating the knowledge that you have the resources to thrive, but you don’t have to do everything alone.

See you every Wednesday at 20:30
