Central Festival Chiang Mai is one of the best shopping malls in the city and a great place to escape the heat or rain. The mall is spacious, modern, and has a fantastic mix of international brands, restaurants, cafés, and entertainment. You can easily spend several hours here.

One of the highlights is the beautiful seasonal decorations. I visited during Christmas, and the Disney-themed displays were stunning. Previous years featured different themes like Pikachu, making every visit unique. There are plenty of great dining options, including Haidilao, Bonchon, CoCo Ichibanya, Auntie Anne's, and a large Tops Food Hall. We also found a delicious milky mochi dessert from Guichaiaumpan that was worth trying.

For travellers, the immigration office on the second floor is very convenient if you're extending your stay in Thailand. The mall also has useful services like professional shoe cleaning, plus stores such as Daiso, Moshi Moshi, and an impressive Adidas flagship store. Overall, Central Festival Chiang Mai is clean, well-maintained, and offers everything you need under one roof. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors.

This is a great restaurant to stop at if you're on the way to Mae Kampong Village. It's an excellent place for lunch, offering delicious local dishes at fair prices in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The surrounding greenery and fresh mountain air make it an enjoyable place to take a break from the journey.

We stopped here while traveling to Norden Glamping after our local bus dropped us nearby, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and the food was fresh and satisfying.

Whether you're passing through or exploring the area, this is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal, grab a coffee, and experience a bit of local flavor before continuing your trip. Definitely worth a stop if you're heading toward Mae Kampong.

Staying at Dijani Hostel, just minutes away from the breathtaking White Temple in Chiang Rai, made this journey even more special. Every morning started with excitement, every walk led to a new discovery, and every sunset reminded me why I fell in love with traveling in the first place.

Our stay at Norden Glamping was everything we had hoped for and more. Located about an hour from the city, this peaceful retreat is surrounded by nature and offers a truly unique escape from the crowds. The property has only a handful of beautifully designed cabins, each with its own character and thoughtful décor, creating a cozy yet luxurious glamping experience.

We stayed in the Rorbu House, and it was absolutely magical. A gentle stream flowing right in front of the cabin made the atmosphere incredibly relaxing, especially in the evening. Every detail of the stay felt carefully planned, from the comfortable interiors to the projector and screen that allowed us to enjoy a cozy movie night. Although the staff spoke very little English, they were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always eager to help. With the help of Google Translate, communication was easy and never affected our experience.

The food was another highlight, with a good variety of delicious options available. Waking up to breakfast served beside the stream was the perfect way to start the day and made the experience even more memorable. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with charming cabins, warm hospitality, and a truly unforgettable atmosphere, Norden Glamping is a place I would highly recommend.

Bali Hai Pier is one of the most important and lively spots in Pattaya. Located at the end of Walking Street, it serves as the main gateway to Coral Island (Koh Larn) and many popular water activities. The area is always full of energy, with ferries, speedboats, and tourists heading out for adventures like parasailing, snorkeling, sea walking, and jet skiing.

The pier also offers fantastic views of Pattaya Bay and the famous Pattaya City sign. Whether you're waiting for a ferry or simply taking a stroll, it's a great place to enjoy the sea breeze and capture some beautiful photos, especially during sunset.

The pier is well-organized and easy to navigate, though it can get quite busy during peak hours. If you're visiting Pattaya, Bali Hai Pier is more than just a transportation hub—it's a great place to experience the city's vibrant atmosphere and start your island-hopping journey.

We joined a sunset cruise around Krabi that included snorkeling, swimming, and a great party vibe — exactly what we were hoping for! The tour ran from around 2 PM to 8 PM, giving us plenty of time to soak in the scenery, mingle with fellow travelers, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.

The crew was friendly and attentive throughout. The snorkeling stop near the beginning wasn’t the most impressive — just a few types of fish — but if you snorkel near the island where they serve lunch, it’s much better! Still not world-class snorkeling, but definitely enjoyable and worth jumping in.

The buffet lunch was surprisingly good — way better than expected for a boat tour. If you like spicy food, ask them in advance and they’ll adjust a portion for you (or bring your own chili flakes if you’re serious about spice!). There’s also plenty of drinking water onboard, so you’re well taken care of.

Everything ran smoothly, with only a short delay once when some people returned late to the boat. Thankfully, it didn’t throw off the schedule too much.
