Is Brooklyn’s market slowing down?

Not exactly.

Home values remain strong, with the median sale price reaching $1.205M, up 9.5% from last July. Closed sales increased, showing that buyers who started their search earlier this year are still moving forward and buyers in some segments have gained a little more breathing room. Meanwhile realistic sellers continue to benefit from a market that rewards well-priced, well-presented homes.

Overall, we find ourselves in a relatively balanced market overall, compared to years past. Still, some sellers are getting extraordinary results, while opportunities exist for savvy buyers.

Whether you’re thinking about buying this year, preparing to sell, or simply curious about where your neighborhood is headed, understanding the market is the first step toward making a confident decision.
