Did you know: Labor Day began right here in New York City with workers organizing for the recognition of American workers.

The first Labor Day celebration took place in New York City in 1882, and over the next decade, the idea spread across the whole country.

Happy Labor Day everyone! ✌️

Summer is typically a slower time of year in real estate, so we’re psyched to let you know that we’ve been busy, busy bees! 🐝🍯

From Park Slope to Crown Heights, Sunset Park to Manhattan’s UWS, we’ve rolled up our sleeves and managed to get lots of clients to the finish line!

The market has been strong, but very glitchy and we are so relieved and honored to have helped our trusted clients reach their real estate goals.

Thank you for supporting us!

Bring on the fall market — we’re ready! ✌️

There’s a certain kind of client relationship that makes this job really fun.

They ask questions. They tell you what they’re thinking. They trust you enough to be honest when something doesn’t feel right—and they’re open when you have a different perspective.

Somewhere along the way, the client-agent relationship starts to feel less like a transaction and more like a team.

Those are our favorite clients to work with.

And, honestly, we’re pretty lucky to have a lot of them. 🏡

Some Brooklyn buildings make an impression before you even walk through the door.

243 New York Avenue is a landmarked limestone beauty in prime Crown Heights, with the kind of original detail, towering ceilings, and natural light that’s getting harder and harder to come by.

At 40 ft wide and 80 ft deep, the 8-unit property spans 11,277 sqft, with an additional 2,800 sqft windowed basement that could be used as recreational space.

Even more interesting?

The property will be delivered with 6 vacancies.

Original character, serious scale, and plenty of room to imagine what comes next.

Is Brooklyn’s market slowing down?

Not exactly.

Home values remain strong, with the median sale price reaching $1.205M, up 9.5% from last July. Closed sales increased, showing that buyers who started their search earlier this year are still moving forward and buyers in some segments have gained a little more breathing room. Meanwhile realistic sellers continue to benefit from a market that rewards well-priced, well-presented homes.

Overall, we find ourselves in a relatively balanced market overall, compared to years past. Still, some sellers are getting extraordinary results, while opportunities exist for savvy buyers.

Whether you’re thinking about buying this year, preparing to sell, or simply curious about where your neighborhood is headed, understanding the market is the first step toward making a confident decision.

Have questions about what these trends mean for your block or neighborhood? We’d love to chat.

In Brooklyn neighbors take so much pride in creating beautiful blocks — and in effect - beautiful neighborhoods.

Lincoln Place between New York Avenue and Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights, is officially named the 2026 Greenest Block in Brooklyn (yet again!) earning the borough’s highest gardening honor for the fourth time!

But this tradition is about much more than manicured gardens.

Since 1964, the Greenest Block in Brooklyn competition has celebrated neighbors who come together to plant flowers, care for trees, create welcoming streets, and build stronger communities. It’s a reminder that the most beautiful neighborhoods aren’t just designed—they’re nurtured.

As Brooklyn real estate experts, we know a great neighborhood is about more than just the homes. It’s about the people who take pride in where they live—and that spirit is on full display across these incredible blocks.

Are you watching the fireworks this year?

They’re scheduled to begin at 9:25 pm and should last about 30 minutes.

Best spots are from Brooklyn Bridge Park, Dumbo or neighborhood favs like Prospect Park or Red Hook.

For a less crowded options check out Westlight in Williamsburg or Harriet’s in Brooklyn Heights.

There’s no shortage of cool places to watch the fireworks from Brooklyn so sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
