Meet all of the beautiful souls who are helping me curate this final wellness event ✨

The initial vibe curator will be @danmaclive, who will welcome us into this space with music, and then will shift to being our Yogi for our 1 hour flow ✨

Our vibe curator during the yoga flow will be our very own @elimusik - who has my whole heart. And I’m so excited to finally collaborate with him ✨

@lilynova___ is one of my favorite local artist. There is nothing she cannot do 😍 she will begin our night time party after our yoga flow ✨

@invertedj my good friend who is helping me set up this entire event. He will be our director support DJ leading us to our headliner…

@giannagiorlando last but certainly not least, our beautiful headliner, another local artist, finishing out evening on a bang ✨

I’m telling you, this is just something you will want to be a part of. 🤞🏽

Isometric Puppy Carry Walks

The floor was lava (parvo). Part of me misses these but actual walks are way better for exercise and sniffs not to mention, Raleigh’s not a little butterball anymore! 😮‍💨

Welcome home to Denver, Mr. Raleigh! 🐾

Our 12 hour drive back from Oklahoma was an amazing bonding experience! From minute one I could tell you were ready to roll and explore the big world! Pretty sure you enjoyed the lull of the Land Cruiser since you slept 87% of the trip! Here’s to many more 4WD and 4 pawed adventures ahead! ❤️🏔️ 🚙 🦮 🏕️ taken in Denver, Colorado by @danmaclive

Femme Fellowship Summer Wellness 003

My heart is so full. This event was my favorite one yet for many reasons. So many of my absolute FAVORITE humans showed up to move their body and set their intentions for the lions gate portal.

The room was filled with so much love. 🧡 and I got to welcome so many new faces.

There are so many really cool things in the works… stay tuned for more spaces filled with music, movement, and love! 🫶🏽

A huge thank you to the team that made it all happen:

Shambhala - (“place of peace,” “place of tranquility,” or “source of happiness.”)

What an aptly named music festival. Never have I experienced unbridled human joy and expression so visceral before this. Much love and thanks to the best group of friends I could have to accompany me and make my first camping festival so fun. Their knowledge from attending previously, the ins and outs of arrival, setup, and the day to day was nothing short of professional. Grateful for all the new friends made on the dance floor as well! And shout out to the festival crew and volunteers looking out for folks all weekend. The care was in the air.

“There’s nothing left to say”

It truly felt like a little slice of heaven on Earth. It’s no wonder the dust and long lines to get in are easily forgotten the second the PK’s fire up for the first time.

“I feel like I just got baptized by bass”

I could make several posts about the sound systems, but I am definitely spoiled for other setups now. Having your bones and soul rattled all weekend heals and shakes a lot out of you (only to have it all washed away in our daily river cleansing).

“Limp yourself to the river each day and all will be healed” - Anonymous

The vibes by the riverside were immaculate. Playful energy at every turn, glistening light off the water, sounds of the Living Room stage echoing all around, hilarious floaties, and so much more. Made it easy to recharge for the next night.

“It’s a marathon not a sprint.”

As the Sun rose on the 5th day, the ritual continued for those of us still moving and grooving, at least, for a little longer. They don’t call it a spiritual experience, but I will. After all my years on this Earth, I’ve come around to a very simple definition for my spirituality these days: Have fun, be kind, and shine your light. Shambhala might as well be Mecca with how much those were exemplified all week. It’s a pilgrimage to get there, but worth it in every way. Happy Shambs!

Who will I see there next year? 👀 taken in Shambhala Music Festival by @danmaclive
